Our party of four enjoyed dinner at Clayton's. Casey was our waitress, and she helped make recommendations. For appetizers, we selected crab cakes and calamari. Both were good. Three of the four of us ordered the grouper, it was very good. The salmon was the other entree that was ordered. Our friend said it was delicious. The pound cake and key lime pie were our choices for dessert. We were all very happy with our dinner choices. Overall the experience was great. Highly recommend giving Claytons a try.
The food was great and our server was wonderful. He made the evening even better with his great service. Highly recommend the calamari appetizer and the grouper entree.Food: 5/5
3rd time to the key but first time at Clayton’s. Very friendly staff, food was out quickly we ate a later dinner. My mom got the bisque said it was amazing and I got the special soup of the day. We both got the Clayton salad and it was nice and refreshing. Left enough room for the key lime pie which was delicious! Tart but the whip cream on the side complimented it. Very affordable meal.
I had a ceasar salad for dinner and it was pretty good, but I had the dark chocolate torte for dessert and it was soooooo good. I’m always looking for a new type of chocolate dessert and it was literally incredible. The raspberry sauce made it taste even better and it felt super fancy. They also have complimentary bread and the butter that came with it was delicious.
We really enjoyed our meal at Clayton's. Service was top notch. It was great to see the manager or owner not sure which he was who was constantly checking on customers, making sure the restaurant was set properly, keeping everything running smoothly. Our food was really tasty, especially the salads and the key lime pie was amazing! Also, their warm fresh house bread and butter was fabulous! Great atmosphere and vibe!
Clayton’s was absolutely delicious and our waitress Leah was super friendly and gave great recommendations. Will definitely come back for the scallops and gnocchi again!
Delicious food! Had the fresh catch swordfish and grouper and both were very tasty. We would definitely go back.
Casey, our server, was so helpful and fun! Braised beef short ribs were amazing, the house fresh bread and butter savory and delicious, the teriyaki salmon was good. A little slow in the kitchen but very good overallFood: 5/5
Wonderful island restaurant with great takes on classic fresh gulf seafood, meats and vegan options. Ask for Andrea and no matter how much you eat order the Key lime pie.
Solid experience and a worthy four star nod. Had our meal on the patio. Good ambiance, tasty food. Kid menu available. Scallops and gnocchi was a hit. The mahi tacos 2 were tasty. The burger was raved about for preparedness. If you are staying within walking distance, you can stroll the beach and cross at the public parking area. Parking at the restaurant is limited pay by plate parking nearby at 6$ per hour.
