If you want to do your own laundry this is the best place in this part of Bushwick. It's the only place with seating and right next to the grocery store so you can shop while waiting if needed. Is it the fanciest place? No but it does the job in a very convenient way. There are a ton of machines so I've never had trouble finding one or people taking my stuff out 30 seconds after the machine stops which happens at smaller places. Like most NYC laundromats I've experienced it is overpriced. I personally prefer the card system to quarters and I have only had an issue with the ATM once and there is no shortage of ATMs in the area.
I really like this place I have been washing for 10 years and now it is kept clean and tidy contrary to the previous owner who did not care about it, the washing machines are new the employee told me how to use them and my clothes came out super clean.
This laundry Matt is suddenly closed without any warning and has 1/3 of mine and my husbands clothing. There are no signs for contact. No one answering the phone. I want my belongings.
You have to pay $3.00 for a machine card to use the machines. Once you buy the card the card will have $0.00 on it, so you have to then put more money on the card before you can wash your clothes. The card also does not work at other laundromats. Also, you have to have exact change in singles to buy the $3.00 card, and the card vending machine doesn't accept bills with any kind of wrinkle or anything on them. It's almost easier to just not wash your clothes and smell bad the whole week.
Clean City ruined a pair of pants that I dropped off for dry cleaning. It was a mistake to assume this business was capable of following wash instructions on garments. The pants I dropped off were extremely expensive nearly $800, hand made in Italy, 100% cotton garment that felt like silk. When they were returned to me, they felt scratchy like a wool sweater, there were waves in the pockets from shrinking, and in general, the garment is clearly smaller than they were when I dropped them off. I have had them dry cleaned before, at other businesses, and this was never an issue. I will be exploring repercussion options since this item was so expensive. I have never written a review of a business before, but if you have an item that you value, please do not bring it to Clean City on Wyckoff Ave.
Great historical boxing gym. A lot of space and equipment to workout with.
i love this laundromat. it's open 24 hours, it's very spacious and has a lot of machines of varying sizes. if a machine is out of order, then there is always a sign signifying that, so i've never had a problem with any of the machines, nor have they ever eaten my money. it uses a card which you fill with cash at a station in the laundromat. the staff are really nice and helpful, and i'm sure they would refund anyone whose money was eaten but again, that has NEVER happened to me and i've been using this laundromat for over 2 years! it also has video games to play while waiting as well as a TV that is always on, plus it's extremely close to 24 hour bodegas where you can purchase a snack or beverage while waiting for your laundry. i have left my laundry unattended for several hours and no one has ever stolen anything or touched my stuff. i don't know why this laundromat has such a low rating. i love it and highly recommend it to anyone in the area!!
This laundry has changed owners now everything looks cleaner they have televisions, hot water and very good customer service
This is the worst laundromat I’ve been to in my entire life, the machines are always broken and not labeled as such, extremely overpriced, and no AC. It’s cash only and they don’t even have a functional ATM. Makes me want to relocate neighborhoods solely to avoid the weekly rage attacks from dealing with this place
The worst. I used to go here but one time my machine broke down. Tried communicating with management but it was pointless the Spanish lady didn't care and the little Asian man could hardly speak English, wouldn't refund me or even change washers. Haven't been in years. Better laundromat on knickerbocker Ave. close to Starr st. Across from city fresh.
