These people took my tax information back in February, I never heard back from them . Feb, March, April Nothing! Woud never returned any calls. They took my sister's $$ and the same was done to her. We now will have to pay penalties to the I R S ,as the dead line has come & gone. I have put in a complaint to the Attorney General. And will now have to hire a new accountant. There name says it all. Stay Clear of this Business
I have been a client for a few years now. Every year their mistakes get worse. I receive notices from the IRS quarterly of another mistake they made. Most recently they failed to process payroll after many attempts asking why and to hurry! Finally, after mortgages and rent payments bounced they respond a few days later without a single apology. They also said I need to pay them more now to get payroll done on time! You make this HUGE mistake again and want to charge extra!? Recently, I have attempted to get a response on yet another IRS letter threatening to lien my company. I have emailed once a week waiting for a response. That was 7 weeks ago. I pay my taxes each month. When they didn't pull the payments, I sent 5, yes 5 emails asking why and to do so ASAP. I get a new representative. We start all over. Again. It seems every few months there is someone new. This new person knows nothing about my company, how to pay, what to pay, what credits and charges go where and when. Most recently I have received another IRS letter stating that I owe $6500! I'm curious how much money they will steal from me before I am arrested. Perhaps then I will receive a response on where my money went and what I am paying for? I went from full-service payroll to not even getting my employees paid on time and threatening IRS letters. In between panic attacks and the threat of losing what I have left during this quarantine, I have canceled my service with them twice. They still charged me this month. I have paid thousands of dollars for their services over the years. They have stolen thousands more. If I don't receive an email in the next 48hrs I plan to hire an attorney to sue them and another Tax attorney to fix their negligent services.
I have been a small business owner for over 12 years now. Because of this I always like to support small businesses, so that is why I chose Clear Solutions, also they had not too many but good reviews. I just needed them to file monthly and quarterly taxes. For the first couple months everything seemed fine, but then my account manager kept changing, and my taxes were being filed later and later past due date also some amounts were wrong. I got no apology, only one penalty was covered by them, I am stuck with the rest now. They completely stopped responding to my emails after I had to discontinue their service, even though I was inquiring about past filing periods. But they were NEVER late charging me their monthly fee! It is really unfortunate when you try to support a small business, and this happens.
My close friend and fellow business owner referred Clear Accounting. So far so good. I came to them 3 days ago with my figures and asked if they would onboard me and help me with an extention. I assumed my procrastination would yield the extention. To my suprise, I was told they would have my filing ready in a few days. I just signed off on my draft 3 days later. The fee is very reasonable. Tad bit higher than I paid my CPA in 2018 he moved to a big firm with big hourly fee. I'll keep this reciew current as time moves forward. I plan to use Clear Accounting again and at this point, I will refer friends, family, and clients. Not too excited about the I expect fee increase
