One star is to high but its the lowest I am offered. This Law group is the WORST! I assume most lawyers are $$ hungry have an empty spot in their soul but They take it to the next level. CONGRAGULATIONS! Not only did our lawyer NOT know who our paralegal was he argued with my wife and I about it....while he was charging us. All that we got out of this law group was the feeling that even though we hired them that they were working against us and the fact that they nickel and dimes us until we finally saw the light and fired them. If your reading this then save yourself $$ and more importantly your time and steer clear of this hot mess. Eric ....and yes we talked to you BEFORE I posted this negative review
I hired Clearwater Law Group in the first part of October 2021 to handle a dispute regarding a real estate purchase with high hopes of good service and competence. Over the course of the next 3 or 4 months I was very disappointed. I've dealt with 10 different firms over the course of time and I must say this has been by far the worst experience I've had working with a law firm. I really can't understand how a firm like this can actually persist considering the lack of professionalism that they exhibited in execution of legal strategies and just day to day business. I rarely was allowed to talk to my lawyer, as the staff is well versed at making empty promises of someone getting back to me or even being able to definitively give me any indication of what the status of my case was. When I would call the firm I would get this deer in the headlights act, but when they wanted money they were right on top of everything, especially with the subtle not so much threats about what would happen if they didn't get money. There was no concern or accountability for failures in execution of representation by this firm at all. I am not going to go into all the details, but at the end of the day I would suggest anyone considering hiring this firm should formulate their own agreement with this firm to consider performance and how poor performance will affect the billing. This firm is all about getting their money, not about service or competence. The fact that I didn't hear from my attorney for the last 6 weeks of my case and the firm owner would also not communicate with me after the attorney I was working with left the firm interesting says all there is to say about this firm. I would not recommend working with this firm to anyone that has expectations of good service or competence in representation. I rarely write reviews, as I question people's motives in writing reviews. In this case I felt I needed to at least put it out there that anyone considering hiring this firm should do their due diligence and don't be afraid to ask questions and put your expectations in writing for this firm to agree to or you will likely be disappointed.
We would NOT recommend using this law firm for any legal work. We hired attorney Mr. Hoxie to help with a family land easement issue. We had to constantly follow up with him to get things moving. He cancelled phone calls three or four times at the last minute and there was little to no communications. We gave him a retainer payment on August 30 and he did no billable work until the end of the year. It took months before any work was started. When the demand letter was finally drafted for our review, it was filled with mistakes - even lot numbers were incorrect. We wasted our time and money over $1,600 for nothing. Two months ago we hired a new attorney and are very pleased with his work. There was absolutely nothing positive from this experience. Stay away from this law firm!!

This law firm charged $150 on the phone calling it a consultation for less then 7 mins and placed on hold 3 times, just to say they would then charge another $750 to review some documents I need looked over. Unethical!
It has been said that the wheels of justice turn slow. Whoever coined that phrase must have had Clearwater Law Group in mind. If you are in need of any type of legal services, I cannot, based on my own experiences, recommend Clearwater Law Group as I do not believe they have the best interests of their clients at heart. Their website makes claims such as promising “transparency with all your options and outcomes,” and “premium yet accessible personal attorneys you can rely on to be your guide while you make the big decisions,” but my own experiences with them have been the complete opposite of these. My mother passed away on February 22, 2021. On March 12, 2021, I retained Clearwater Law Group at a cost of $4,000 to handle the probate for her estate. Although my mom had left no will, her estate is fairly simple and as her only heir I was due to inherit everything she had anyway. In my initial consultation with the attorney, Austin Carmen, he outlined the necessary steps and said that, based on the circumstances, her estate should be settled relatively quickly. To date this has been the only interaction I have had with an actual attorney at Clearwater Law Group. So much for the claims that their attorneys are “accessible” and “transparent.” Apparently “relatively quickly” also has a different meaning to the staff at Clearwater Law Group as it is now more than a year later and this matter is still not settled. When one pays for legal services, the natural assumption is that one is paying for the services of a competent attorney and not some paralegal who is not as well versed on the law. After all, you wouldn’t pay to see a doctor only to have your surgery performed by their receptionist, so why pay for an attorney if they are not going to do the work they were hired to do? Again I reiterate to you that if you are in need of any type of legal services in the Tri-Cities area, you would be better served going with any other law firm than Clearwater Law Group.
I wont go into much detail in order to protect the attorney-client privilege. I will say, while I cant speak for all of the attorneys in this office, I find it very hard to believe some of the attorneys in this firm are barred. The lack of professionalism that I witnessed from this firm is unconscionable. To Clearwater Law Group: Do better.
I needed help with settling a small estate. The receptionist was courteous and polite despite my homeless appearance and the lawyer helping me talked me through the process very well. The place was hot though. It was 80 something degrees outside and they hadn't turned on the air-condition.
