FAQ:
*What happens when I come for my first visit?
An initial visit includes a thorough examination, including x-rays, and a diagnosis of your oral health needs. After we review your records, we will meet with you to discuss the various ways in which you can achieve, and maintain, oral health.
*What treatments do you provide?
Treatments include:
Preventive care, including cleanings and fluoride treatments
Restorations (fillings)
Crowns
Bridges
Implants
Dentures
Teeth whitening
Extractions
Thumbsucking "helpers" (retainer-like devices for children who want to stop sucking their thumbs)
*What types of insurance do you accept?
We accept all fee-for-service dental insurance plans, as well as Delta Dental and Blue Cross Blue Shield Dental Blue. Dr. Cleary Jr. also accepts DeCare. If you subscribe to a managed-care plan in which our office does not participate, some treatment may still be covered, and we will work with your insurance provider to maximize your benefits. Feel free to contact our front desk staff with any questions.

*What should I do if I knock out a tooth?
Call our office immediately to schedule an appointment; the sooner the tooth is treated, the better the results. In the meantime, follow this advice from the American Dental Association:
"Hold the tooth by the crown and rinse off the root of the tooth in water if it’s dirty. Do not scrub it or remove any attached tissue fragments. If possible, gently insert and hold the tooth in its socket. If that isn’t possible, put the tooth in a cup of milk and get to the dentist as quickly as possible. Remember to take the tooth with you!"
