The Clerk's Office has both judicial and non-judicial responsibilities. From processing and maintaining civil, criminal and juvenile actions, to recording land deeds, mortgages, plats, conveyances and other precious documents, to administering oaths to County officials, Judges and Governor appointees, issues business license and marriage license, performs civil marriage ceremonies and commissions notaries public.
