The CSUPD is staffed 24/7 including holidays. The patrol division ensures high visibility through the utilization of patrol cars and foot patrol. Special Units include: Detective Bureau, Crime Prevention, Security Officers, Special Events, and Police Records.
The CSU Police Department will preserve the peace and protect the life and property of all CSU community members. In fulfilling our mission, the CSUPD will stress patrol, crime prevention, and community services while enforcing and upholding the lawas of the State of Ohio.
Police Patrols: CSU Police take a proactive approach to crime on campus. Officers work to prevent crime with highly visible motor vehicle, bicycle, and foot patrols. In addition, surveillance operations are conducted by plainclothes officers and detectives. CSU Police operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
