Clinton Bootery

The only shoe store I patronize. Clinton Bootery reminds me of the shoe stores my parents took us to when I was a little girl, before cheap, discounted retail ruined everything about shoe shopping. The saleswoman is wonderful, and so helpful and fun to converse with. She helped me pick out a pair of hiking boots on my last visit and, before that, a stylish pair of water shoes I can wear to the beach or out to lunch. If one pays a little more than at DSW or TJMaxx, it's well worth it for the quality merchandise they carry many European brands, exemplary service, and confidence that one is walking out of the store with a product that does not need to be returned or relegated to the back of the closet.

It was really nice to meet Gene today. He’s been in business on the shoreline for decades and operates a nice little family business selling high end shoes for men and when at affordable prices with amazing service. Highly recommended. Stop here first!

Needed to pick up a new pair of boots and was considering swapping brands. Received advice that matched my perceptions of the brand I was considering, shoe size differences between brands, and given a clear explanation of the store's return policy must be in box like-new. Had pleasant discussion regarding use-case and goals for the new pair. Overall very satisfied.

What great service. I've been having shoe problems with my broken ankle, none of my shoes now fit or are uncomfortable. My last 3 visits we're successful because of there knowledgeable and patience staff. I now have 4 pairs of shoes for all occasions. Thank you for all your help. Clinton Bootery is the place to go to make your feet happy.

I used to get almost all of my daughters shoes here when she was little. Now they sell a lot of higher priced shoes that are good for teachers and nurses; people who work on their feet all day. It's still a good place to be measured and get that old fashioned shoe shopping service.

Be good to your feet because they support you. I treat myself each season to comfortable stylish footwear that lasts. Love this store

I drive from Bridgeport, CT to shop here, the most pleasant staff I have come across in a very long time. My husband and I have spent at least $1000.00 on UGG boots from this store for our 2 daughters and will continue to do so. Very lovely staff.
