Making Good Men Better!
Clinton Lodge was chartered on January 16, 1845, this Masonic Lodge shared a two-story building with the First Methodist church here in Henderson for a number of years, then a Lodge building was constructed in 1868 at the intersection of Depot and North Main. That building was also used for public school classes. Clinton Lodge purchased the Ranking building on the northwest corner of the square in 1893 and met there until 1934. The Lodge then moved to a new building at West Main and South Harrett where the new fire station is today, and continued to hold Lodge in that building until 2004. We then had the opportunity to build the nice building we are in today, without the help of donations made to the Lodge and the labor of Lodge members this building would not have been possible.
