This wasn’t the first presidential library I visited so I rated it one star less. My overall experience was great. I love how detailed everything was. Enjoyed reading about the history and seeing documents, memorabilia, how the oval office looked like to name a few. Did learn a lot of things during my visit and I loved the Dino Exhibit. It was great for kids and adult alike. Took off one star because we weren’t allowed to take a photo at the oval office unless we pay extra. Also, comparing this to other Presidential Libraries, I think it was small. Other than that, I had fun visiting this place and would highly recommend it if you happen to be in the area.
How interesting! The gifts given to the Clinton's from other countries were amazing. The staff is remarkable. Very knowledgeable. The photo opportunity in the Oval Office is worth it. I thought that was the best part.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
One of the grandest Presidential libraries in America. Stunningly beautiful grounds. The school of public affairs is situated in an old train station waiting room, which has been renovated to perfection. The building is bound by the Arkansas River on one side and the city of Little Rock. There's a lovely outdoor cafe called 42. Don't hesitate to ask the wonderful volunteers for some stories about Bill Clinton's visits... they have plenty! .On the roof is his private putting green and apartment. They claim to see the top of his grey head often when he is there : Wonderful place to bring the family.
Each year, I enjoy taking International Student Exchange ambassadors from all over the world to see and experience what the William J. Clinton Library has to offer. Visiting the library by far is one of their "Bucket List" highlights of their year studying abroad and here in America. Thank you, President Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton, for continuing to inspire many, many generations.
A beautiful structure located by the river. The library offers a tour twice a day. Try to catch it and then go back to read what exhibits you want. Plenty of things to do to keep you busy for 2 hours. Not for young ones really. Too much reading to keep them engaged. A temporary dinosaur exhibit was there when we visited. Kids would like it, but 30 minutes tops.
Enjoy history, like libraries? Then regardless of your political tendencies do visit the William J. Clinton Library and Museum and engage this fascinating era in America and 42nd president!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
This library was a bit of a disappointment. We are visiting all the Presidential libraries this year that we can. As we entered the building, there was a large anamatronic dinosaur loudly braying like a donkey. There was a temporary exhibit upstairs, but I saw no need for one to be at the entrance. The other problem is that the oval office display is only available to see if you agree to get your picture taken by their photographer. You don't have to buy the picture for $24.95, but still... it makes the experience feel like a carnival side show. On the other hand, we throughly enjoyed walking over the Arkansas River on the pedestrian walkway that used to be a railroad bridge.
Really enjoyed our visit to the Library! Not quite as extensive as other presidential libraries we have been to but still lots to read through and you could spend a couple hours going through it all. Above all, though, the staff at this library were the most friendly and personable of all the libraries we have been to and really took time to explain things to us and made sure our visit was a great one. The library is situated right next to the river and has a really neat bridge to walk across, making for a really nice setting.
Very presidential, we did the Dino exhibit today and browsed around awhile. Next time we'll get there earlier to browse the swamp before it gets real hot. The replica oval office is amazing and the exhibits are interesting.Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
Had it mistaken for an actual library. It’s more a museum about Clinton and his time as the president. There is a lot of construction going on in the area so it looks a bit lost though there are still nice views of the bridge and the area and parking is free. Instead of parking in one of the parking garages consider parking here and walk to the Riverfront or just walk the bridge for great views of the river and downtown.
