Sexy, upscale, modern and chic. Perfect if you want to forgo the wild club scene but if you want solid music, good looking crowd and great drinks. No cover but they charge for tables. Affordable in comparison to tables in the large/major clubs.
Worst experience ever. Brandon the bartender or whatever he calls himself was rude and ignorant. Brought my wife to Vegas for her first time and decided to stay at the Cosmo because I heard nothing but great things about the bars and restaurants on site. As soon as we get to the bar this guy couldn’t smile for the life of him. As my wife asked “what can you make that’s fruity?” He just had attitude with his responses. I simply asked for anything with tequila. When I was going to ask for second round of drinks this guy just still had a attitude about him and I simply asked em “are you ok, you seem on edge since we arrived. Do you not smile?” His response “I don’t get paid to smile” from that moment I was livid and just wanted to close out. Coming from someone that makes a living off tips I was shocked to see this type of behavior in the SERVICE INDUSTRY. I still tipped him because I believe we all have our days, but if that’s how he is on a daily basis get rid of that guy. Every other bartender we had on site and off site were like night and day compared to this guy. Simple smile goes a long way that’s all I gotta say.
Small and cozy place for a quick drink or two or a snall gathering or a party. Loud and noisy music, that's of course expected on an adjacent casino floor based bar lounge. Food options were great, and everyone liked it. Drink options and choices were ample. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the service was really quick and sharp. It is bit expensive for a large group party stuff.
Certainly lives up to its name as we were made to feel very unwelcome. Told to sit at the bar, but we decided we wanted to sit on the settees but then was rudely moved by the host. Waitress was called to check all 4 ids…she was very unhappy maybe because she forgot her skirt/trousers. We decided to move on without ordering and told the host politely how rude he’d been. All 4 of us were smartly dressed, residents of the hotel, a mixed age group of 20s and 50s so not sure why they behaved as they did. Perhaps they don’t like English folk and we weren’t the right ‘look’. Whatever it was they never found their ideal customer during our stay as the place was empty every time we walked past. And it made us smile that the host hid when he’d see us coming past .
This place used to be a cool chill spot. Now it's an overcrowded, overhyped lounge that's attempting to be a club. The bartenders do their best to make no eye contact with customers as they are moving and working behind the bar, so they can't tell who came to the line first or at the least who's been waiting there the longest. This is what happens when everyone splits the tips. No one has to work hard...then they complain when they aren't tipped or not tipped what they feel is proper, but tips are EARNED! No hard working person owes you anything! I digress, I waited 20 minutes at the front of the bar as the 4 bartenders served people all around me and even right next to me. One guy even told the bartender that I was next and she still took another order in front of me. Oh, and she never came to take my order at all. Then I had a security guy tell me and my friend to remove our baseball caps, yet there were at least 8 others in there with hats on. As I removed my hat I told him not to forget to chase down those others like he did us. Way too much nonsense for overpriced drinks...won't be going there soon and I wouldn't advise anyone to patronize this place.
Came here while I was staying at the Cosmopolitan because I wanted to try some of the fancy cocktails that they advertise. I went to bar, which was empty, hoping for a seat. I was told that they only allow bar stools at the slot machines 4 total. Fortunately, there was an open slot machine so I was able to sit down. I requested one of the more picturesque cocktails advertised online but was told they dont make those at the bar. They only offer them if you reserve a table and the tables have a minimum tab of $500. That was pretty disappointing. I inquired about a table reservation since myself and some other ladies were willing to book a table to experience one of the fancy cocktails. However, we were told that they're not doing those cocktails because they are out of most of the ingredients for them. At that point, I got one crown & coke then left. The only saving grace for this place was that the DJ was amazing. They played a lot of 90s/early 00's hip hop and rnb which made it easy to sit a chill. Nonetheless, I did not come back to this back for the rest of my trip.
Music was all right, drinks were decent. The reason for 2 stars is that there were huge TVs everywhere playing consecutive 2-minute clips of random movies all night. It was really distracting and ruined the mood. We asked to have just the TV right above our table turned off, and were told it was not allowed. This was for a party with a $2000 minimum tab. Really disappointed.
Black Beard cocktail was tasty, Bulleit Barrel bourbon is a favorite of mine. Wife and I shared a plate of fried Oreos and they were amazing! The atmosphere was nice, very comfortable and warm but there were a ton of very loud TVs which really didn't keep with the mood of the place. I would go back and order a table side cocktail next time.
The atmosphere was great. The bartender made me a special drink that I requested. It was a pink lady. It was a perfect off of the menu choice. The service was great and it wasn't crowded.
Walked by this place many times and decided to stop in with a friend for some drinks. The hosts were snooty and very unwelcoming. Business was slow - the bar was near full but no one was sitting at any of the lounge chairs/couches. We asked to be seated there and were told it was a $200 minimum. Really? So unless we were willing to get drunk, they would rather make NO money and have an empty lounge. We decided to go to the Chandelier Bar instead and were really glad we did. The service was excellent and we were very comfortable sitting in their nice lounge chairs. After dinner, we opted to go to the Vesper Bar - another great choice. I will continue walking by the Clique Bar to other lounges where your business is welcomed. I encourage others to do the same!
