The purpose of this Association shall be the mutual welfare and advancement of the members of the Clive Police Department, to comfort and assist the sick and needy members and their families and their widows, widowers and orphans, and to contribute financial relief at the time of death. The Association may also provide support and/or financial contributions to citizens and/or other non-profit organizations who have experienced a tragedy and are in need of financial assistance.
