CQT is unlike any training facility in the Midwest.

We offer a state-of-the-art indoor 14-lane, 25 meter, full, tactical live-fire range rated to .50 BMG.

A two-story, live-fire ballistic shoot house, with multiple breach doors for blast or mechanical breaching, including rooftop breaching.

7500 square foot force-on-force training area with street scape "Mock City", multiple structures and buildings.

Multiple classrooms all capable of seating over 20 students. All classrooms are digitally linked to the ranges and capable of recording sessions for future review.

1000 sq.ft. multipurpose mat room for edged weapon, combative and weapon retention training.

2500 sq.ft. Pro-shop featuring the latest in defensive firearms and tactical equipment.

Great shop and range. Took my wife and daughter here and they weren't as experienced as I and the staff took the time to go over things and explain without sounding condescending, they actually talked to them as if they were just friends. The store is well stocked, although ammo was limited, apparently they are experiencing shipping issues with their vendors which is very common place at this time. They offer several classes and Tuesday is lady's night, lanes are free.
I’ve never experienced worse customer service in my life. Ordered a handgun from their online store, it was “fulfilled on their end” 12 hours later, was told it would take about a week to come in and i thought all was good. A week goes by and I hear absolutely nothing from them. It took me calling several times for them to finally give me somewhat of a status update on the order, but they still couldn’t give me a definitive answer in regards to tracking. I call again 2 weeks later and they said that the order was fulfilled 12 hours later but the vendor never shipped it out and now it’s out of stock. Had I not called several times, I probably would’ve never found out that their vendor never shipped it out. Ridiculous experience, will never deal with this place again.
This is a great shooting range. Nice clean facility with a nice digital return system to send out targets to the exact footage you want you can program it in by keystrokes. They also let you fire repeatedly, as long as you show control. Basically you’re allowed to do control bursts. Which is all that is really necessary IMO. This is the first range I’ve been to that allows this. There is usually a 1-3 second required wait time in between each shot. Not that it’s a big deal, but it is kind of nice to double tap or three round burst once in a while just to check out your weapons handling. I would go back for sure.
Just had a family range session, 3 adults, 1 teen, and 2 pre teens. Pretty solid time. Safe, clean and fair prices. Nice modern little gun shop/range.
We’ve been to close quarters tactical and have used the shooting range a few times, but this review is purely based on the customer service I received from one of the associates this past Saturday 12/7… Earlier in the week I reached out and left a voicemail in regards to getting a CPL license/registration for the class. No one responded or called me back. That’s fine. I drove an hour to the place. The gentleman that helped me out definitely gave off the vibe that I was annoying him with asking a few questions about the course and getting gift certificates/registering. Basically I wanted to either buy a gift card for my husband to use towards the course if that was acceptable or just buy the the course and gift it that way to him for Christmas. In case the date of the course didn’t work out, I was told that we are able to reschedule, and the money was transferable. Fine, that’s great! The gentlemen took 40 minutes from start to finish to process the order and request. All while his ears were with another person who must’ve just taken a class in addition to another instructor going back-and-forth about their families, different guns, etc. On top of prolonging my visit, he did the invoice wrong, and another associate had to come up and save the day. I wanted to buy a membership for my husband as well, and a few other accessories, but the guy who was ringing me up, was taking far too long, and seemed very disinterested. Very thankful the other guy who was able to process everything and get it completed. If the original gentleman was unable to process the request, I wish he asked for the other guy earlier. Please work on your customer service skills. If you’re not qualified to work, the computer/POS system, please don’t do it and waste so long and trying to complete this for me on a Saturday night when there was absolutely no line and no reason for it to take this long.
Wow this place is absolutely horrible purchased 1 lane 2 people they were so packed I couldn't place my gun case anywhere near where I was shooting so I decided not to shoot because nowhere safe to keep stuff I was letting the other stay and shoot there was enough for hand gun space, not in there 3 mins come out and let them know im not going to shoot not enough space they just said keep it with me what is that supose to mean and would not give me back the extra they charge for 2 people very bad customer service, will never go back there.
First time there last night with my wife and to teach 2 new shooters who never shot handguns before. First and very important was the staff. They were very helpful, courteous and professional. We told them I had 2 new shooters and they took the time to explain the rules and safety of the range. Great place to shoot and this will be the range I will use from now on. Waivers are needed in all the indoor ranges I have been to so that is a non issue that I hear people complain about. It's only a one time $4 fee and lasts for a year. For me, service is very important and they delivered.
Cool little place. Got asked nicely to not shoot two pistols at once but it's all good. Wish they would get more P90 ammo. Beautiful gun. 28 an hour for two people. It is one of my go to spots to teach people to shoot.
Came here with a couple friends to rent and shoot and the staff were amazing and very helpful and I had a super fun time. I was very happy with the variety of weapons to shoot and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be back!
Staff were friendly and nice but range master is a complete ###hole. Makes you instantly feel like taking your money and range time somewhere else.
