Overall the store is really nice and they have an amazing clothes. Store is clean and the prices are really good. The only thing that I don’t like is that employees are rude,usually I visit the store really often and I spend a lot of money there, so I believe I deserve little bit of respect. I just think it’s really important to be friendly when you work at retail business because the customers are the one who keeps you in business. If they can fix that, everything would be perfect!
Excellent service from start to finish. I ordered a nice pair of Naot sandals. The ordering was easy, and I was notified within hours my order was packed and then shipped out. CM kept me informed of my shoe package progress from Illinois to Ohio. Didn't have to wait long. The shoes were packed with care, even had bubble insulation tucked in them to keep their form. And there was a friendly handwritten note inside as well. Top that Amazon! And yes, the shoes fit and are so comfortable. The price for this normally super expensive brand was fantastic. Thank you for all the positives Clothes Mentor in Arlington Heights!
Fantastic store. The best one I've been to of this chain. Excellent selection, extremely organized, the owner was so friendly! We live over 30 minutes away and it was well worth the drive. Looking forward to hitting this one up every season for a new wardrobe
Had a terrible first-time experience at this place and will never go back. I came to sell my clothes and when I walked in, I was not even greeted. The store employee just asked if I've ever been there before. I said no, and he proceeded to tell me about their exclusivity in selecting clothes to sell, and took one look at my clothing and seemed to have made up his mind that he wouldn't accept anything. He quickly scanned through the 3 ! bags that I brought and kept emphasizing about their policy, and suggested I take them to another place. I understand the store has a policy and only accepts certain items, but being my first time, it could have been handled in a much more customer-friendly way that does not make customers feel excluded or judged. Also, there was no one else there, so there was no need to rush the process, making it seem as if I wasted his time. All around rude customer service.
Even though I love shopping there and this is absolutely one of my favorites stores to buy womens' clothes, I was frustrated by the uncaring phone experience I had with Karen. She wasn't helpful and it's such a buzz kill when you enjoy a shop but some people ruin some of the experience for you.
My expectations were low but somehow they managed to be below my already low expectations. Offered me $6.00 for some very nice Rag & Bone boots. I think the lady next to me with a bin full of target an old navy clothes get the same offer as I did, So don’t try and sell anything nice there. Try sell it yourself on posh or eBay or donate to charity
Best place to sell and buy Luxury items! The staff is amazing and welcoming. First time customer and I'm very happy I took my time to get quotes on all my handbags suitcase full. Clothes Mentor offered me the best price and their selection is amazing. I purchased a cute cardigan and will be coming back for more purchases. I met the owner today and she was super amazing. The manager Monce made my first interaction amazing. She explained everything and even remembered me when I came back to sell my handbags. Little GEM I found in Arlington heights.
I brought in 7-8 items, including some still with tags. I got $35 for all these beautiful things. I would rather give them to people who really need and appreciate them. I didn’t feel like the amount paid was fair!
Love Designers? This place is your best option to shop! Both in store and online! Also, selling stuff to them is worthy, they know what they are doing and explains pricing very well, they are really honest in telling customers that they won’t offer much and with luxury brands they offer half, they’ll even tell you to try selling it first on your own if you want to get the most considering how much money you spent for it and choose them for convenience in case you are not able to sell it on your own. They are my run to place for quick outfits coz they have cute items that I love!
I brought in some stuff to sell and I was told they only take high end brands and to try other consignment shops for some of the items. They were all in good condition but they were mostly big box store brands. Which is fine. I went in to look around and found items from Shein, quite possibly the cheapest and lowest quality fast fashion retailer. This was very frustrating for me. Also, a handful of the sweaters in the store had stains on them.
