I was very pleased with my experience here and will VERY likely return in the future. I bought a dress for my baby shower at the time in February 2022 and they even gave me their honest opinion on how it looked. They even offered to allow me to bring it back if it no longer fit but I liked the dress too much. Thank you all for helping me make our day for our future baby girl special.
I’m have been three times. The owner used to be so nice. Very warm and friendly and engaging and helpful. She seemed pretty put off by my presence today. She was short and didn’t remember me like she had the second time I visited. I don’t know what changed but I felt very unwelcome, like I was beneath her or something. I am not offended that she was unable to buy most of what I brought in although she had specifically asked me to bring those items back after it warmed up outside. It is what it is. The store has nice things though, for the most part, although most of it is not for me. I probably won’t be back though. The owner was the only reason I ever came back in the first place.
If you’re thinking about selling your clothes to them DON’T. I had a few new with tag clothes. Work pants nwt over 40 from kohls. Low heel shoes barley worn pretty much new. A beautiful long white off the shoulder dress nwt over 40 dollars. New Nike hat literally over 30. Most of my stuff was definitely on trend so I’m not sure why they didn’t give me more than 17.00 maybe they’re just greedy. That’s totally unfair on my part & yes obviously I had an option of keeping my clothes or sell it to them, but I wasn’t going to say no because I had my baby with me so it’s a little hard to travel and I live around that area so it’s more convenient for me.
The staff here is so helpful and engaged! If you tell the girls what you are looking for, they are happy to help and happy to give sweet and honest opinions if you try things on. The owner is a wonderful example of a healthy workplace. And I’m sure you’re wondering - super affordable!
Great values given for my clothes. While I was there, I shopped for just five minutes and found three items I LOVE and for great values! One of the items I seriously had saved in an online cart!! I was thrilled! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. Give it a try!

There's always a lot of nice clothing, shoes, and accessories here. I've always made more off my items here than any of the other resale shops. They are extremely picky about what they take, but it means you'll be able to get the best of the best when shopping here. My 17 year old daughter loves the athletic clothing, my other 18 year old daughter loves the selection of jewelry and accessories, I like the selection of business casual clothes. We enjoy our visits here and always make a purchase.
Even thought I live in Houston, during the pandemic Kathy started doing those LIVE SHOWS and I was hooked! I still shop online and have gotten some great deals. And I’m a special size, I wear an 12 Tall and an 11 shoe. I encourage you to shop online even before heading out to retail stores you just may find what you need at Clothes Mentor! Thank you Kathy for all you do for Tyler and beyond! We love you dearly!
I love this place. I can always find nice things here for myself without the after-purchase-guilt. And the staff is so nice & helpful.
