"For over half a century, Cloverleaf Ranch has provided a healthy, wholesome and fun vacation for children. Originally a boys working ranch, Cloverleaf has become a "home away from home" for thousands of children and adults from all over the world. Born in 1947, our ranch was built board by board by my Grandfather, Larry Armstrong and created by my Grandmother, Grace Armstrong.Today, in addition to our award-winning horse boarding and riding programs, we are home to Sonoma County’s Premiere Summer Camp Program. Our ranch brings the fun and excitement of the traditional summer camp experience to campers, with activities such as horseback riding, campouts, hiking, swimming, ropes course, arts and crafts, zip-lining and more!"

This was such a fun experience! My friend and I went on a trail ride with the sweetest most gentle horses and then when we were done we had wine and cheese! The instructors were so outgoing and fun, and I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to ride horses along a beautiful trail!
It was fine I guess. The counselor Mosa was one of the best counselors there! She was responsible, funny, hardworking and overall one of the best people I have encountered. Lava was also very nice and you can tell they care about their campers. Mosa deserves a raise, same with Lava. I'd like to see them get appreciated more. Especially Mosa. One thing tho. I feel like their planning was kind of off because in the middle of the week pool was scheduled but they randomly decided to clean it. It bummed people out. Same with some supplies. The overall ranch is pretty clean and well kept. Was it worth $500? No. Probably equestrian is the best way to go if you like animals. Also some counselors would get mad at everything and it kinda ruined the experience, again not Mosa or Lava. The counselors are not good at hiding their relationship btw lol
I like this camp and have sent my daughter there a couple times. She really enjoys it but her complaints are about the showers and food. I spoke with some other parents about it and they feel the same way and haven't signed up again as a result of it. Being a girl, they need more than 3 minutes to take a shower. She told me if they are longer than 3 minutes, the counselor threatens to reach in and turn the shower off. Im not ok with this. I spoke with staff about it and said that was not ok and said they would have address it. From what I hear, it wasn't addressed. The food is rationed and portions are smaller so after everyone gets food and they want more, they are given less than before on the second serving. My daughter said they put Gatorade in the big coolers and water it down. She wanted to get water during the day from the fountain when it's a stones throw away and the counselors always tell her to hold on and forgets and the conversations become uncomfortable and they must be bunking with them for up to 2 weeks. I brought this up before and now mentioning it because I would like to see these simple changes because I would like to see her back there. I gave 3 stars because it was a good experience but needs small changes. I don't think it's a bad review and hope Cloverleaf looks at it that way.
We came to visit Cloverleaf Ranch to have our pictures taken with Mystic, a lovely Mare with the most beautiful eyes. She was all dressed up for the holidays. It was very enjoyable and we took a short walk around the ranch to admire all the horses, chickens and ducks.
This place is a wonderful playground in the heart of Santa Rosa. Living here for years I never knew that Cloverleaf Ranch existed. We stumbled upon it and were amazed at how cool of a property it is. I can't say enough about how friendly, accommodating, and sweet the owner/operators, Shawna, Colin and the DeGrange family, are with their patrons. They were devastated by the fires last October but are working effortlessly to rebuild the property into something greater! I highly recommend checking out this property.
My daughter had such a great time she was in tears when we left. I can't rave enough! Friends, and friends of friends, and so on have had amazing things to say about Cloverleaf ranch. I can't wait for her to spend another fun filled 7 days in 2019.
My daughter went to camp last summer. She was so nervous when I dropped her off. She was nearly in tears..however, by time i picked her up she was so happy and excited to come back. Overall she had a wonderful experience. Hope open again for this summer
It is the best camp ever! I live farther away so when I had to leave for the week I was crying. My group had so many fun people including one who lived at the camp, I'll never forget it and I will always go back next year.
Cloverleaf ranch is the best summer camp I’ve ever been to. This year will be my fourth time going there and I can’t wait because almost all year I can’t stop thinking about going there again to see the horses, counselors and my friends.
Very good business for owners, as student I have been in camp on exchange program Work and travel, for 4 months. For hard work in kitchen I received 900$, so I worked for 2$ per hour! Greedy owners even denied to relax after shift with countrymate in kitchen just not to eat ice cream.
