Club Rio Ely

Bartender didn’t know what a dark and stormy was and after explaining it I was told they don’t have ginger ale. How does a bar not have ginger ale? The atmosphere was good though

I was in a band that came from Milwaukee to play there, and we were treated like The Beatles. There wasn’t a single person there that was anything less than wonderful. I live in Chicago and wish I could bring everyone here to open a Club Rio here.

The funnest club I’ve been to in a long time. Cari is awesome and always keeps you laughing with her stories and rhymes. We always feel like we’re at home when we’re there and make it a point to go there anytime we are able. Club Rio rocks!

Friendly regulars having a great time doing karaoke and playing pool. Loved the casual and exuberant vibe. It's lively and fun!

Great dive bar with cheap drinks. The staff is attentive and nice. We visited numerous times during our trip to Ely. Favorite bar we encountered in 5 days.

My husband and I broke down about 2 miles up the road from Club Rio and spent the evening drinking beer had a great time! Bartender drove us home because there is no taxi

So after leaving the casino down the street I decided to stop in to this bar that had a sign out front that read "hunters welcome". That seemed like a friendly indication so I went in, intending to have a beer. Not another soul in the place except the bartender and a middle aged lady who is probably the proprietor. At 8:30 on a Friday night. I asked what they had on tap. "We got nothin' on tap." "Well then I guess I will have a bourbon and soda." The proprietor says "we don't have any club soda." "Well," I said, "never mind then." It's a real conundrum why they didn't have any customers.

Love this place it's the greatest. the owners and friends of mine Kerry and John are great host they provide their patrons with live music and karaoke weekly. Highly recommend you stop in and have a beer.

Great little dive bar. They didn't have the stuff to make the drink my wife wanted, but the bar tended improvised and did a good job.
