A fairly recent ownership change has breathed new life into this cozy liquor store. Locally owned, you can tell the owner takes pride in his store and makes a point to converse with his clientele. Inventory is well maintained with a solid variety of options. If they don't have what you are looking for, just ask, and they'll do what they can to bring it in stock. If you show a little loyalty, you might even be able to secure the occasional special allocation items as well.

I rated 5 stars because this location always has friendly and helpful employees. Their selection of beer, liquor, and wine is good for the size of the store, and they've always had what I was looking for. Since it's close to my home, I'd much rather shop locally here. Also, the employees are friendly and have made good drink suggestions in the past when I asked.

David, the current owner is the nicest guy in the world and provides great customer service but the new owner that is starting to take over the store is the exact opposite. I left my drivers license at my job and went to purchase some Crown from this place and when asked for ID I provided my GWC Georgia Weapons Carry License which can be used as a primary ID in GA. I have used it at countless liquor stores, gas stations, government buildings, and other businesses that require a government ID. He looked at me and told me that it is not a real ID...I tried to explain to him that yes it is a valid ID in GA and you can use it literally anywhere you need and ID and he was very rude about it and stated several times that no you can not use it in place of a drivers license. After I politely told him he could look it up if he thought I was wrong and he replied with "Well that doesn't matter it's not up to you it is up to me". How does an OWNER of a business not realize that you don't say that to a customer? It is not my fault you are purchasing a business and you don't even know what IDs are legally acceptable to use at that business. If you don't want to accept my perfectly legal Government issued ID AND you want to try and belittle me and be rude that is perfectly fine by me I will never shop with you again.

This place rules. The guys who work there are friendly as hell, they have a great selection of craft beer and pretty much any kind of liquor you'd ever want, and good prices as well. This is by far the best liquor store on Cumming.

Avoid this place unless nothing else is open! Stopped in here to pick up some gentleman Jack for fathers day, and their price was $13 over what other stores sell it for! We noticed the Bulleit Rye was also over priced by $13 compared to other local liquor stores. This place may be good in a pinch, but otherwise go somewhere with more reasonable prices and more selection.

Rude people working register - you stand there behind one person who is checking out while they chit-chat for several minutes. Even though it's TWO people middle-aged woman and a man checking ONE person out, neither of them can be bothered to ask you what you need help with. Not a place I will ever spend my money. Their rudeness could be due to the fact that I was wearing a mask and neither of them or the customer were....just another kind of discrimination I guess.
