This is a fascinating place. We took our Grandsons ages 9 & 14. They both found things to love. The trucks and the train layouts were amazing. We spent the whole morning. At lunchtime the volunteer guides all great! suggested the Hollywood Restaurant which is casual and has a menu for all ages. We returned after lunch to see the upstairs, the barn with farm equipment and back to the trains! A fire station is coming too, so we'll be back.
A very pleasant museum with friendly staff that gave us a private tour. Trucks, model trains memorabilia of days gone and tractors even old WWII item. We spent over an our and was great with the family and my grandson of 4 who had hands on play time with model trains. Fun day!
The staff were every personable and welcoming. Half the museum is the once private collection of a single collector. Primarily military stuff with some trains thrown in. The two model railroad layouts were a big hit with the kids. The other have focuses on Brockway Trucks and farm tractors. Sadly most were missing any sign giving information about the vehicle. It's a nice local museum run by dedicated folk.
Great museum and staff. The military collection was great. Had artifacts that were collected and donated from local veterans. Too much to see in one visit. Definitely worth a visit.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
The new addition is coming along nicely. Glad to add the new ringing equipment to the bell. Great people to work with and the clock inside the museum has a great story to it. White’s Clock and Carillon. Whitescc.com
