The CNY Living History Center consists of 3 separate museums; the Brockway Truck Museum, the Homeville Museum and the Tractors of Yesteryears.
The CNY Living History Center is home to three museums. The Brockway Museum, The Homeville Museum and The T.O.Y.S. Museum. The Brockway Museum features Brockway Trucks that were manufactured in Cortland, NY from 1912-1977. The Homeville Museum is the Ken Eaton Collection of American military, railroad, and Cortland County artifacts. The T.O.Y.S. museum collection includes antique tractors, plows and many other items used on farms 50 to 150 years ago. The collection also includes artifacts that were used in old rural America. The T.O.Y.S. collection gives life to the agricultural history of Central New York and all of rural America.
To develop a museum complex for the preservation of historical artifacts of local, national and international significance, to educate students from the elementary grades through college, to contribute to the economic revitalization of Cortland County by creating a museum that will enhance tourism in the Central New York area, and to provide opportunities for volunteers to become involved in community-building activities.
