Prefer the vibes and location of this Ptown campground. Even though it was pretty much full it felt quiet and many of the sites, particularly along the pond are very private. Mimicking the town’s vibes it was very queer and felt safe and welcoming. The other campers and staff were all very nice. Go by the front check in booth for a doggy treat. Showers are 5 min for $0.25 which is an great campground shower price. Very easy onto commercial street via walking or bike. About 5 min bike into the middle of town or to Harbor Cove. Want to come back for longer next year!
Amazing spot ! Spent 8 nights there and could not of asked for a better fit. 15 min bike ride to beach, 15-20 min walk into town - loved it. The staff is super friendly, very well organized place and clean. Vicky and Anna were super. Sites offer all 3 services. Definitely coming back again.
Good location, nice sites, however you have to bring your own fire pit, no hammocks allowed !?!?!? Would love to give 5 stars but just cant. Added: I totally understand the first pit thing, however most campsites provide these. I also understand the conservation of the which is why tree friendly straps should be required but not eliminate hammocks.
What a great little campground. Super location and very clean. They can accommodate larger rigs, but you probably want to give a call before you come. There are some tight spots. We had a wonderful time.Rooms: 5/5
Definitely going to stay here again. Staff and visitors are all super friendly. Location is unbeatable - we saved so much money on parking being able to walk 15-20 min to Commercial St. Campsites are clean and the way trees are there is a bit of privacy even though sites are close to eachother. Can't wait to come back! Walkability: Easy walk to the heart of Ptown in less than 20 min with cafes on the way.
What an amazing spot. If it wasn't for living so far away, I would come back as often as I could. Anna at the office is amazing! The staff are friendly, and the grounds are kept immaculate. There is wifi throughout the park and every spot has power and water. Just an absolutely amazing time, that I will cherish for years to come.Service: 5/5
I have to say that we had a very pleasant stay here at Coastal Acres. The staff was great, the management was great, the lots were great, and the facilities showers/toilets were well maintained and clean. It will cost you $0.25 cents to take a 4 minute shower, but the pressure and the water temperature were fantastic. You're about a 15 minute walk to Commercial St which is super convenient. The campgrounds does not have a laundry facility, so you will have to go out into town and use the only laundromat around about a 5-10 minute drive down the road by the Stop and Shop and it can get quite busy. Do be aware that the mosquitoes and horse flies are pretty bad, with the horse flies being particularly aggressive. If you're walking down the road and you think someone is waving at you, they're not, they are just fighting off the horse flies :. Anyway, I highly recommend this place to stay while visiting Provincetown, considering it's the only one this close to town, you are sure to have a wonderful stay. Maybe we will see ya'll next year! Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping. Walkability: You are only a 15 minute walk from the main strip in town, Commercial St
It was our first stay at this camping and we loved it ! The location is great 15 mins from the city by foot and next to a bike rental. The staff is super friendly, and they serve coffee in the morning which is very convenient. Most of the campsites are very small and next to each other however. The only reason Im not giving a 5 star is because there are little things they could do to improve the experience : get new curtains for the showers current ones are too long and fix the faucets in the washrooms 3/4 don’t work properly. Also when you put the money for the showers, the timer starts right away, even if you are not using the water. I wish there was a notice for that. Everything else is great!
Really close in with other campers on busy weekends like Labor Day. Great staff, super dog-friendly. Close walking or biking distance to Herring Cove Beach and Commercial Street in Provincetown.Rooms: 3/5
We had a wonderful stay at the Coastal Acres Campground. It is very well maintained and quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. It’s close to beaches, walking distance to town center restaurants and shopping. Dogs are welcomed and well behaved. The showers are 25 cents for 5 minutes and have great water pressure this is a must for me! Change is available at the office. Restrooms and showers are very clean and in great condition. The campsites are private in that they have vegetation/shrubs growing between each which makes us feel cosy in our own private little space. We had electricity, a picnic table and a utility sink with faucet at our site and this is a very welcome feature I had not seen before in campgrounds. Overall, a great stay, and our favorite aspect was really how quiet and calm the campground is.
