I just lost my wife 2wks ago and then our washing machine broke down so my 9yr old little girl and I came to wash our backed up laundry and had it 90% dry when I was yelled at by the attendant to stop and getting everything out at 1050 it still took me to 11 but nothing is completely dry.... I spent over 100$ in here to be run out unfinished. And I get people taking advantage but I was trying my best to get our laundry taken care of after a full day of work. Very disgusted with how my daughter and I were treated and lack of caring about a well spending customer. Very very disheartening. I think if you're the owner I know staffing is extremely difficult right now but there has to be someone a little bit better than what we were dealing with tonight absolutely ridiculous. I will never come here again. Online & on the door it says close at 11pm. When I got there the attendant said they close at 10:15, came it was 9:10. He rushed me to wash my clothes. Had an attitude because he had to stay pass 10:15. Only came because it was recommended about being the best and closer to my place. It's not worth $4.00 to wash when I can pay $2.75 some where 4 blocks down

Clean and great atmosphere. Everything worked as expected and in a great price range. They even have a bench there I would love to buy . They have staff on duty, drinks available to purchase and a atm

Bad experience, and will not be returning. After starting the washer I realized there is green mold in the machine. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the attendant wasn’t helpful. I made the mistake of loading money on the app then realized you can’t even use the app for the dryers. After experiencing all of the above and deciding to write a review, I saw these incredibly off putting signs posted by the owner. I will not be financially supporting a poorly run business and especially not an extremist facility.

I’ve been doing laundry at Coastal weekly for the past couple of months and, as a laundromat, it is very good. The machines are well maintained and functional and prices are competitive. The reason for a lower rating is the political activism on display which creates an unwelcome environment for those with a different perspective. At first, I thought the signs were part of a community bulletin board but recently realized they are posted by the owner/management. They are also flying a Gadsden flag on their outside pole. With the events happening in this country over the last several years, the Gadsden flag is associated with, co-opted by and displayed by those who tend to be supportive of the January 6th Insurrection and of far right wing ideology. The messages written on the laminated signs that are posted throughout the laundromat are associated with right wing conspiracy with falsehoods of fraudulent elections, inaccurate accusations of “freeloading opportunists voting communist” and calling anyone who doesn’t support their extreme right wing views a “traitor.” The owner has every right to be openly political in their business but, for those who understand the association with these symbols and messages, it is hostile. With this realization, I can no longer spend my money at this establishment Edit to Reply to Owner’s Response: What’s baffling is thinking those opposing your far right ideology don’t believe in freedom, unity, etc. If anything we are more patriotic than those who would storm the Capitol carrying their Confederate and Gadsden flags to attack the American democratic process in an effort to overturn an election - an election that centrist conservatives, multiple courts including SCOTUS and even William Barr agreed was not fraudulent. The message posted on your walls is pure propaganda and the Gadsden flag has been co-opted by extremists. You can chose to ignore that but it doesn’t change reality.

I'm just as impressed on my second visit to this laundromat as I was months ago when I was new to the area. All of the patrons are warmly greeted by the staff here. Everyone knows Miss Lynn. This facility and parking lot is kept very clean...especially the bathrooms. You can sit at one of the tables and eat food you've brought. There are vending machines, working change machines and an ATM. Oh, and if you only need to dry your washed clothes, DRY YOUR CLOTHES HERE!!! Don't get angry with those other horrible facilities that say you must wash there to dry there. Right, Mt unPleasant? Miss Lynn will welcome you. Washed a load for 23mins @$3.50 and dried 20mins for $1.00. I now love this place!

I was surprised to find a laundry mat to be so clean with all of the machines in working order. The attendant was very friendly and helpful, we very seldom need to go to a laundry mat but we were waiting for our new washer and dryer to be installed. The other folks using the facility were very nice and enjoyed having conversations with them. All in all we had a pleasant time washing clothes and felt safe. I would recommend this facility by all means.

I've driven past here many times, but only recently needed to use their machines my washer recently broke. The building itself is pretty, everything feels relatively clean and kept up with laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and link can get messy fast!. Hours are super convenient and there are change machines on site. The only thing I'd love even more is if I could pay with a credit card. It looks like you may have been able at some point in the past from the stickers I saw on the machines but that seems to no longer be the case.

The places closes at 11 but they will kick you out at 10:30 if you don't leave they will call the cops on you!!! SMH

as a place of business of your operations hours say you close at 11pm why rush people to be out there by 9:45/10 ? . Very unprofessional.
