I would highly recommend this medical facility. The staff was attentive and friendly. My visit was with Dr. Gareth Davies; great personality. He was so informative and thorough re: the reason for my visit. He spent a good deal of time answering mine and my husband's questions in a manner that was understandable in layman's terms. Dr. Gareth demonstrated all the characteristics one would expect and hope to see in a medical professional. He put our minds at ease. Thank you
The doctor and staff at the Portsmouth office were extremely friendly and personable. Dr. Pallatroni took the time to thoroughly evaluate my daughter’s condition and then explain it in a way we could understand. I appreciate the support and guidance they’re providing to be certain we’re on the right path to ensure the right care plan for the best outcome.
Had an appointment at 8:00am - I got taken right in on-time. Nurse was wonderful, and I appreciated the clear and transparent way that Dr. Davies communicated with me about what my options were for surgery/spinal cord implant. He was able to confidently and clearly tell me why I was not a candidate for one thing, and a good candidate for the other. He worked extremely well with my Boston Scientific representative, and I feel so hopeful that now after 18 years of back pain, I have a doctor who will be able to provide some relief and improve my overall quality of life. That is all I can ask for.
I was very impressed with the staff there. I felt they were prepared, having already gone over my past medical records and checked with me to confirm they were correct. Dr. Pallatroni was engaging and I didn't feel rushed. He showed me my MRI and did a thorough concentrated physical exam. I was also very pleased with his recommendation and feel confident it was the right decision - couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Had my second appt with Dr Davies. Again I have to say he and the staff there were amazing. Even with it being an end of day appt I did not have to wait long. We talked for quite a while and he explained the surgery very well. He answered all the questions my wife and I had. Never felt rushed at all. Feel very comfortable with Dr Davies and his staff taking care of my health needs.
My whole experience has been very positive with this practice. As a new patient with an urgent need - I was able to be seen the very next day with Dr. Davies. He was extremely professional and patient - explaining everything to me. The office staff was all very helpful, supportive and responsive. During and after my subsequent surgery, I found the same high level of care and communication. We have previous experience with Dr. Pallatroni, who is also an extremely caring, compassionate and skilled surgeon. This is an excellent practice - we're lucky to have them here in Portsmouth.
Doctor Pallatroni is thorough, Compassionate and listens to you. His staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Very easy to make an appointment and the wait to see the doctor was nice. Would recommend this office and doctor to anyone who needs his specialty.
I’m 2+ weeks out from a spinal stimulator procedure and so far I am thrilled! My procedure took about three hours and I was home that afternoon, including a 2 drive! Dr. Davies did a wonderful job, I had very minimal post surgery pain and only needed Tylenol. I would highly recommend Dr Davies and the Portsmouth Regional Hospital!
Dr Davies was respectful and had great bedside manner although however didn’t give me a very positive outlook on my surgery in terms of making me feel like the outcomes would be positive. Focused more on the negative outcomes than anything else so kind of scared me away from wanting surgery. And I would prefer a second opinion from another surgeon at the facility and also the front desk secretary was absolutely rude , disrespectful and completely unprofessional and caring. She wouldn’t even look at my temporary insurance card I have worked in healthcare for 13 years and I would never treat my patients like that! So needless to say my experience there was definitely not good. From the moment I stepped into the office the front desk secretary was absolutely unprofessional and I have never experienced that before. She needs to look into another career or perhaps up her attitude a little bit
I’m always greeted by professional friendly office staff. My nurse was so nice and patient and really listens. Dr. Pallatroni is awesome! He totally listens and talks about all options and really gets it! He is very professional, educated and friendly. I feel that I’m in great hands with my upcoming surgery. Thank God for his expertise! Jacqui
