We have taken our 4 kids here for 7 years but had been thinking about switching for awhile. We finally did when my 12 year old came out of the room in tears and he’s never had any type of anxiety or stress over the dentist. He was my second child to come out crying at some point there with no previous dental anxiety. My biggest concern was that nobody came and got me either time to let me know there was an issue. We switched dentists and it turns out they didn’t need the “treatment” they said we did. I can’t tell you how much money and time we have spent here for unnecessary treatment the last few years. “Spots” that could be corrected with flossing. Get a second opinion! The overall energy and vibe of the place has changed. The waiting room is drab and now charging for debit/credit card just feels like we’re being nickel and dimed. Do not recommend.
Dr. Schuller and Irene were EXTREMELY patient with my daughter when performing the procedure! Both were very attentive and assured she would be okay. Dr. Schuller talked to my daughter throughout the entire process, reminding her of how well she was doing, while Irene made sure to keep her comfortable. As a mother, they both made me feel comfortable from the time we were brought back to the room, until we left! They even treated her as if she was one of their own! As a child, I was afraid of the dentist, as I only remembered them yelling at me for enjoying sweets BUT THANKFULLY THIS HAS BEEN A TOTALLY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE!!!!! 5 MILLION STARS for sure!
My husband and I have been bringing our kids to Coastal Pediatric Dentistry for 8 years now. We have had nothing but a great experience everytime we come! The front desk is always so pleasant, and very helpful with dealing with our Insurance company when needed. The Dr’s, and hygienists are all very upbeat, and always great with the kids! I’m happy to say, my kids love going to the dentist! Thank you ALL for everything you do!
All three of my kids love going to the dentist. All the staff makes them feel comfortable and at ease. The atmosphere is always fun! Having three kids I have seen every dentist with coastal and each provides a level of service that makes the parent feel informed and the child smiling bright! Thanks!
I wish there was a pediatric dental office like this when I was little... My children were so well taken care of at Costal Pediatric Detntistry and actually enjoyed getting their teeth cleaned. The pleasant experience starts at the front office with the courteous staff my kids were welcomed at their first visit with their name on a sign. Dr. Hubbard was so helpful with each of my children's dental needs, and actually helped us in making orthodontic decisions for our daughter. The office manager is AMAZING, very well educated, and committed to making sure your experience will make keep you coming back. If you haven't made your decision on a pediatric dentist, I would highly suggest this practice. Wonderful experience from start to finish!
Military like us or not, make an appointment with Coastal Pediatric Dentistry. My boys loved their visit today!! Dr. Hubbard was very informative. Loved the quality and knowledge that was given. I loved how the entire staff was upbeat, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this office.
This was a disappointing dental experience, and we were surprised because at first the practice looks very kid-friendly. The worst part is that practitioners here have under-developed bedside manner. They expect to plug your kid into headphones and have then watch the brain candy on the ceiling during the appointment, and are taken off guard when this method doesn't work. I am sad that we took our toddler there for his first dentist visit here-- which was forced and we were expected to restrain him. Our daughter had some dental work done here, and she too wasn't really treated like a person to be respected, rather, just a patient to bill for. To top it off, when I called in advance of her appointment to get an estimated cost of the service, the quote I got was over $200 less than what I was billed for it at the end of the visit! The office staff member responded that this was "in the fine print" and there was no further adjustment that would be made. We will be going somewhere else from now on, and cannot recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a positive dental experience for children, or a quality business to have dealings with.
I’ve never been more impressed with Coastal Pediatric Dentistry! We were vacationing in HH, kids being kids... we needed a Dentist. ‍ Not only did Dr. Hubbard show up on her day off, she treated my daughter when no one else would. Great experience. Wonderful office. Excellent quality. Our dentist back home said the quality was super. Thanks again Dr. Terri Hubbard for all you did!
This place is amazing!!! We just had my daughters first dentist appointment and she loved it. The lobby is adorable and so much fun for kids. The entire staff was also very nice and great with young kids.
Not impressed at all! This place is a Disgrace, Staff are nice until your kids has to have something done with the Main dentist then they are just rude and mistreat kids. I went to the Beaufort office to have my son's spacer put back in and he doesn't do well with the Dentist is the 1st place and while he was have this done he was upset and loud and the Dentist was telling him to Shut up and we don't yell in the Office. My son is Hard of hearing so of course he doesn't understand but this doctor was Unbelieveble to speak to a kid this way. If you can't handle kids and them being upset then you shouldn't be working there. The DR. was a male and every disrespectful to me and My family, we will not be going back here until we really have too!
