I took my Golden, Bay, in today as he just hasn’t been his playful self and just wanted to sleep. Dr Scott Jacobs come in and said right off he could smell like there was an infection so he checked him over thoroughly then checked his teeth and gums. He had me hold his light to the roof of Bays mouth and found imbedded was an almost 3” twig stuck between his teeth. Dr Scott dug it out and yes, very infected. Bay didn’t even yip nor did he act like anything was wrong in his mouth this past week cuz of their high tolerance. I was horrified but he assured me the antibiotics would get it healed. I’ve had dogs all my life, farm dogs, city dogs and never had this happen but he had stories of seeing this quite often. Thankyou Dr Scott for your diligence in finding this. Other vets may have just quit and given me a prescription but Dr Scott was SO thorough and caring and took his time explaining instead of being in a rush to get to the next patient. God bless you Dr Scott!!!

Coastal Veterinary Hospital & Pet Resort is truly a special full-service pet facility. I had a 16 year old Miniature Schnauzer who required special needs related to his age. The staff took extra time and care to advise me on a wellness plan that gave him his very best life. During that time, they boarded him and continued to do an excellent job grooming him. The entire staff gave him special attention which meant so much to me. I highly recommend Coastal Veterinary Hospital & Pet Resort for all your pets needs.

This is the best pet clinic in town. I’ve lived here my entire life and they have taken care of all my pets. They are so tender hearted and loving. They truly care about your pet. Shout out to Dr. Avery for being the very best veterinarian. She is truly awesome at what she does— Thank you, Coastal for loving me and my pet.

I’ve been going to Coastal Veterinary Hospital for four years now and their care for my Irish Setter, Tierney has been incredible. They are always very loving to him. I hardly ever wait there and their care has been extremely diligent. I would highly recommend them. I’ve recently been working with Dr. Wilson and she is outstanding, I can’t say enough good things about this animal hospital. They truly care and are wonderful.

We loved the new option to get daily pictures & video during Otis’s stay. The report card is fun to read & they always include a new friend he’s made. It makes it easier to leave him for vacations, when we know he’s taken care of.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff is incredibly helpful and sweet. They’re so great with all of the dogs. My dog Rocky can not wait to get to daycare in the mornings. I’ve also boarded him with them and they’re amazing!!! I love the little report cards they send home with him. They’re also very festive and have dress up days. There are a lot of birthdays are celebrated there yes for the dogs.

I took my pups here for the first time this morning and everyone was absolutely amazing!!! I was very anxious finding a new vet since one of my dogs is high anxiety, but they worked with me every step of the way to make sure that he got all of his wellness needs taken care of. Dr. Wilson and the CVTs Lory and Tara were so kind and thorough. Can't recommend this office enough!!

Doctor Avery and all the Coastal employees are very professional, courteous and kind.  They treat my cat with the utmost care.  I have taken all my pets to them for many, many years and would not go anywhere else!

Amazing, knowledgeable and friendly staff! Great place to bring your family pet  to these top doctors who know what they are dealing with! They always explain price and service before hand to ensure you’re completely comfortable. Five stars! I’m so glad I found this amazing vet and clinic and hospital!

We love Coastal Vet/pet resort and doggy daycare. The staff is pleasant, helpful and very efficient. Our doodle gets SO excited when he goes to play and he feels safe and at home when he boards there. Everyone takes such great care of him!
