Can't say enough about the kind, helpful service here. They were the most compassionate & most accommodating of all the funeral homes we called on. Coats made what is always a difficult situation go smoothly and provided a beautiful service for our mom. Their gathering room which allowed for an on-site luncheon was a huge bonus. Jessica was nothing short of outstanding and amazing. We laid my grandma to rest 4 months ago and we are laying my grandfather to rest this week. She is great, understanding and works with the family. She made both of these situations the best she could. They handled my fathers arrangements back in 2018 with Chris. This year it was my mom with Jessica and Craig. It felt so seamless. Great people. Made it so effortless, even when we came up against a scheduling issue. They can handle my arrangements when the time comes.
My uncle passed away at his home on Thanksgiving morning. The entire staff of Coats Funeral Home in Waterford did everything and more to make things easy for us to take care of him with respect and dignity. When it came time for his viewing at church, my uncle looked like he did 5 years before he died! It was a huge comfort to see him so peaceful. Special thanks to Jessica, Chris and Amy for the after care.

Coats did an amazing service for our son, Talyn. They were able to accommodate us on such short notice. The staff were wonderful and we couldn't have asked for a more caring and considerate group of people to help us through such a heart-wrenching time in our lives.
