Guard shack is a joke. Guy at the dock is actually awesome. Not a busy place and a little weird in and out. No overnight parking.
Entrance off Davis Hwy or Bloodworth. No sign saying truck entrance tho. Bloodworth says Employee but you just stay to left road in. Delivery was very slow and I was skipped over several times for trucks that came in after me. And even ones that were dropped on the yard.
They advertise 2000/wk on Indeed for truck drivers. It is an average of 1000/wk at best after they're done playing around and they have to disclose actual pay. They have "variable rate overtime". Which is a complex way of bypassing overtime pay to pay a day rate instead. Just thought some of y'all should know.
A little tight getting from check-in to receiving due to curbs, but not too bad. Receiving personnel were very friendly and fast to unload once I was docked had to wait for another truck to unload. I was checked in and unloaded in an hour. Great job guys!
It's nice place to deliver a load they were very quick unloading less than hour thanks for the receiving staff. Also if you are delivering to this location when you make left turn to the Woodworth LN and drive forward a 0.2 mile the facility will be in the left make first left turn you will see ahead sign says Employee entrance don't rich that sign it will make you think if this is Employee entrance where you turning is Employee exit don't hesitate make your turn I hope that coca cola company will put a sign to help the truck drivers.
The man that welcomed me was very friendly && talkative which was nice, just didn't like how slow the warehouse guys were. I went into the warehouse just to ask a question && nobody asked if I needed help or anything they just kinda stared while talking amongst themselves while they had trucks to unload. There was literally 5 guys on forklifts, 3 of which were just standing around talking to each other. Took them well over an hour but otherwise it was easy in && out delivering.
Do not deliver here you will end up loosing your whole day, had a confirmed 12pm appointment upon arrival warehouse personnel told me that the appointment is more for me than it is for them, told me to go sit on the lot and wait in line since they were 4 hours behind. After almost 3 hrs of waiting ge comes up to me and said not going to unload you today you'll just have to come back tomorrow me and my guys are about to go home for the day, when we contacted his supervisor he told us well you'll just have to reschedule for another day, absolutely unprofessional they do not care about your time lost my reload due to them and all they could say was too bad.
The entrance to the plant is beautiful. It is the nicest coke facility i have ever been to.
Hard to navigate their driveway, but they're fast at unloading.
Do not work here. This is the most greedy, cut throat place I’ve ever been to. At orientation they say “we’re a united family”. But that couldn’t be further from true. We in the warehouse are looked down on, our voices are not heard. Everything there works against us to make sure we make as little money as possible so higher ups make more money. I injured myself and the manager got mad at me when I showed up on crutches and a boot and said “you should’ve denied them and said no”. To the crutches and boot he mislead me about my compensation pay which I’ll never get now. The supervisor on night shift is a joke, we would rather not work and make money than work under him. We stopped working hard and making commission because our complaints fall on deaf ears so we stopped working. We just get called lazy and threatened with our jobs. The supervisor for night shift lies, back stabs and constantly messes with our payroll and has more than once said inappropriate things to us like an employee mourning a lost loved one was told to get over it because he lost both his grandparents so she wasn’t special. HR and manger did nothing. I could go on but this place was by far the worst job I’ve had. I quit in the middle of a shift because I couldn’t take it and the supervisor said I was his number one guy so just know I’m not some slacker disgruntled employee. Let’s be real we all know Pepsi is better
