Cock of The Walk

This used to be the families favorite place to go for special occasions. We loved the family style dinning and platters of delicious food and generous sides. That had all changed. The price of eating had nearly doubled and everyone has to order individual entrees. All the prices are higher and much higher than other Cock of the Walk locations. We recently brought family from out of town to our "favorite" restaurant only to be shocked and embarrassed. Price was ridiculous, serving style totally changed, food quality declined and they even did away with the tin cups they used to serve drinks in. We will never go to this location in Pensacola again I can assure you. We'll wait until the next time we are in Mississippi where according to their website they haven't forgotten what made Cock of the Walk a worthy destination!

Came across this place by accident. Not knowing what to expect, was surprised by the decor but was impressed by its consistency. Keeping with the southern tradition, I went with the fried catfish and chicken. Very good. Would not recommend the salad, though. Any advice would be to play into the southern role and you won't be disappointed. And ask them to flip the cornbread.

The food is great! They have the absolute best coleslaw and cornbread! They do tricks where they flip the cornbread in the air. You can also feed the catfish outside.

First visit average food, average service, high price for what you get. Second visit, was seated, then forgotten. After a while we left. It was very deserted. Not busy. Not going back.

I've been here a few times & each time the food & people were great. I love this place & will miss them when they're gone.

Just wasn't the old cock of the walk I remembered from Mobile, AL. Too bad, for it was one of our favorite places to eat.

Good to eat occasionally, everything is fried food.
