Meet Nicole Renée!
My love for cake decorating started when a friend had asked me to make a baby shower cake for her back in 2006. It was the very first cake I had actually tried to make and though it was a challenge, I loved the creativity in cake decorating! After I realized how interested I was in learning more about decorating, I worked hard to better my skill.
I eventually got up the nerve to apply to local bakeries at the end of 2008 and landed a job at The Gourmet Cupcake Shoppe of Midland, MI. Here, I learned to bake and developed my decorating skills through 2011. And by the way, if you've never been there, their cake is delicious! :)
I then made my way over to Muskegon, MI and worked for Ryke's Bakery from early 2011 to the end of 2015. I worked in designing and creating beautiful wedding cakes for countless brides and grooms for 2 1/2 years.
With plans to end up in Cedar Springs, I had the honor of working for the truly amazing Cakabakery of Grand Rapids for a few months before plans changed! I decided to work for myself, building my own business through my house!
I am so passionate about baking and cake decorating that I wanted to be sure I was representing a product that I was proud of! So after years of developing recipes, I couldn't be more happy to finally offer gourmet, scratch baked desserts! I do not only cakes, but also cookies, brownies, cupcakes & decorated sugar cookies!
With 7, going on 8, solid years of professional experience - I would be more than thrilled to work with you on any and all of life's special events!
