Short staffed, it took a long time for the server to get our drinks, to take our order, and to get our food. Service was poor due to not having enough help. However, the waitress was really nice. The food was ok, I think it used to be better.Food: 4/5
Review for March 3rd 2022. Coco's Bakery restaurant is located in the heart of Mission Hills. It is one of a few Coco's Bakery restaurants in the Los Angeles County, within the San Fernando Valley. Let me start off by saying that I really do appreciate their customer service. My sandwich lunch was perfect. I had turkey with french fries any freshly brewed hot cup of coffee. I got to admit that the coffee here is very fresh and delicious. I seldom ever get a chance to have lunch here while I'm working, but when I do I really appreciate the customer service. I'm not guilty, to say that I absolutely I love turkey sandwiches. Thank you so much for the attention to service and the detailing the quality food you serve.
Parking was full getting here and we arrive around 10am so the earlier the better. Overall wasn’t much of a good experience and I don’t see myself coming back. After being seated our waitress I didn’t get her name, she didn’t introduce herself we noticed our table and menus were a bit sticky and was also a subtle foul smell coming from the seats we sat at a booth. Our waitress wasn’t warm or welcoming whatsoever and even brought us the check while we were still eating which made us feel a bit rushed to leave. We ordered a tomato&basil omelette, 1 brioche French toast, the lumberjack combo, side of bacon, side of sausage, a coffee, orange juice and a mimosa for a total of $68.90 I asked to sub the ham for something else and they didn’t which you can reference the receipt and picture of food for reference. The food was decent but not good enough for the price and the bad dining experience. The young hostess/waitress with the braids and gold hoop earrings was sweet and almost made up for the lack of customer service but it’s unfair to rely on her. The rest of the staff need to do a better job at cleanliness and hospitality.
Staff was really friendly and food was really good, my boyfriend highly recommends the country fried chicken. Parking: A lot of parking next and behind the restaurant Dietary restrictions: I asked my breakfast dairy and gluten free, didn't have any issues.
Well let me start by saying i have never had any complaints about Cocos. Been coming here ever since i could get there by bus, because Moms didn't drive. Long story short i drove 20 minutes away for the old Thanksgiving pie tradition. Took home an apple pie. Discovered that it was a bit raw. Drove back the next morning. The young lady and manager were very polite. Got a refund which I'm content with. I also told my kids yes the pie was raw. What is important here is that, in the time we are in. We should all be grateful for the people working hard to please everyone. Happy Thanksgiving and Happy holidays. God bless
Delicious salmon with veggies and mashed potatoes. Free slice of pie your choice every Wednesday. Very courteous and professional employees. Super pleasant atmosphere. Don't wait for a weekend. Give yourself a treat . Don't miss your change to try their seasonal pumpkin pies.
First time going to Cocos and it was a great experience. I dropped by for breakfast with the wife and their breakfast platter didn’t disappoint.Apart from the food, they had great customer service. The cashier was also nice enough to thank us to the neighborhood with a pumpkin pie slice. Definitely going back!
Great service. Don't care for the message about sharing the tip with the so called team. Servers are always working above and beyond. They also bus the tables and put up with crabby customers or get the brunt of a lousy cook. I want this taken away. Besides there is no double check to make sure a manager doesn't cheat. I view it as a scam. I am very offended by it.
People with disabilities attention this Coco's here was very rude to me because I have a service dog he was demanding for me to put her under the table I need her always because I'm a type 1 diabetic she's only a 4 lb Chihuahua so being on the floor doesn't benefit me at all so I don't know about this manager but he's very very rude unprofessional just please people beware and it's best you stay away from this place or you might run into similar silver situation like me or worse I will never be back I will never go to another Coco's in my life due to the experience that I had I don't understand why people like him does it understand how we need our animals to save our lives as I see her as my ultimate thing life-saving she's done so much for me she saved my life so many times so please people listen Don't let this situation like me stop you from going to other places as soon as he do report them State of California is behind us people are aware of you That's fine by my side
Don't come here! You'll get robbed and they will give you ridiculously small portions for a hefty price. Stay away from here the service is terrible I assure you. Instead drive down 3 more miles and go to country folks diner.
