Police that are working Lyons Creek Middle are pure tyrants. Expelling someone from a school line 5 minutes before dismissal is an absolute abuse of power. Sad thing is Captain Morgan does not provide his officers sufficient training to remedy the issue. Telling people they can not park in a non-gated community while not obstructing traffic is also abuse of power. Placing trespassing signs where they are not legal, and using "city ordinances" to hide behind these issues is absurd. I guess I need to learn in harder for these guys to get an education. Let's get the State Department of Justice involved to see what other violations of the law these people act upon. I've had a few instances with these guys and they do think they are above the law or they know more than you. When the information is put in their face they cave. As long as I am a resident of the City of Coconut Creek, I'll make sure that these inconveniences are fixed accordingly.
Police are really scare in this town. after school one day, Police officers came through my garage and beat me up and literally dragged me out my home. they that i was braking in. They then drew weapons' on my mom as she in minding her business on the toilet! Lucky my grandfather who is a retired cop came home and went off on them. The officers did not give names. or filed a police report.
An officer wished death upon children publicly and used the tired, time-worn cowardly response that his statement was a joke, same as every violent bully ever, hoping that he could score his violent point and enjoy the blessings of zero repercussions. We have here a police department that is neither peaceful nor showing conduct becoming of officers. Your constituents should be ashamed of your poverty of character.
Known for hiring an officer that made comments about children being killed for using their first amendment rights. This is shameful. This community deserves better, those students deserve better, and this department has shown it does not hold to the standard of "morality" it requires of officers at all times. This department needs to be reformed and officers who use such irresponaible and biased language need to be fired!!!
Playing disc golf at tradewinds park in coconut creek where local police were patrolling, my friend threw his frisbee and it hit the patrol car's windshield. Instead of a negative reaction, the officer made jokes on the intercom and totally made us feel relieved at the mistake. Thank you for being cool and understanding!
The police department administration closes for 3 days for Friday Saturday and Sunday taking Friday off, and make up their revenue by giving unlawful tickets to citizen who work Friday Saturday and Sunday while they leisure on your dime. if you have been a victim please file investigation report and come forward as it is very important for all to come together to bring the truth about their lack of service and using their authority to help themselves on Tax payers dime, and on your personal dime too!!
You will find a handful of nice officers and the rest are rude and disrespectful and don't know how to speak normal human beings. Please don't go and try to ask them any questions while they are out, they will be very rude and brush you off
Officer Gee L Bethancourt is a disgrace to this department and to all police officers out there. He made threats against civilians including myself and has shared classified information about cases with people other than fellow officers. He also cheated on his wife while on duty many times!! To add the disgust, his 6 year old daughter was in the other room a few times while he was cheating!! This is a sick person let alone police officer. Let's see how the department handles such a disgrace!
Easy to find and good people to work with. The officer was very informative and courteous. It took a minimum amount of time to get it done. I was there for fingerprinting to obtain a license.
Visited the Coconut Creek Police Department for their fingerprinting service twice. Both times Officer Jimenez was very professional and incredibly helpful.
