Code-4 Counseling offers specialized mental health services (training and counseling) for police, fire, and EMS agencies.
The mission of Code-4 Counseling and the driving force behind Dr. Garrido Metz’s work is to assist in creating a culture within each agency where maintaining mental health and resiliency is openly discussed and encouraged at every level. Additionally, engagement with the peer support team, resiliency trainings, wellness checks, etc. is something members of the agency look forward to and find valuable for their professional and personal development. This is a lofty goal and requires a shift in stereotypical law enforcement culture; however, Code-4 Counseling has seen extraordinary forward progression with the agencies we support and are excited and confident in our ability to bring this same successful strategy to additional agencies around the state and across the country.
