First time playing here and had a blast! I really like the way the games are setup and run. Instead of being hit once, and having to sit out the rest of the game, you are able to respawn and get back into the action. This is great as it really means you are going to get a TON of play time in. By the end of the day, you'll get in so much game time you'll feel like you can't even shoulder your replica! The games are also not just a simple death-match, instead there is always an objective which helps keep the field dynamic and moving. Refs and staff are spread out around the field during the games which means they are always right there to provide you with information, keep an eye on the game, help "dead" players move safely back to spawn, etc etc. There was a nice mix of speed softers, milsimers, rentals, and new players. Overall great vibes, no drama just good clean fun. While off of the field there is a gigantic military tent that everyone can easily take shelter under which is a great way to avoid the sun. Next to that, there is a water-misting structure. That doesn't even take into account the awesome food and drink! Burritos, nachos, snocones, agua fresca, iced coffees, gatorades, waters, etc etc they really have it all when it comes to refreshments. Typically I pack all of my own food and drink as you never know what underwhelming options will be available to you during the day, but that is something you will definitely not need to worry about here. The proshop is well stocked and I found they carried a much wider variety of items than other fields. All of the staff and refs were knowledgeable, friendly and kept the games running like a well oiled machine. Spoke with the owner after the day was done and had a great chat about the history of the park and its evolution over the years. Overall very impressed with the operation and would HIGHLY suggest checking out Code Red. If you are a new player, or someone who is thinking of renting for the first time THIS IS the field to try!!! When I moved to California in 2018 I tried walk-ons at a very popular field and was discouraged from returning due to unsportsmanlike behavior The understatement of the century. I wish I had come to Code Red instead, as the players and overall feeling was incredibly welcoming and friendly. As above, no drama, no issues, just good times. A MUST for anyone looking to play airsoft in Southern California.
First time playing a this field. Took my sons and 5 of his friends for his birthday. Check in and rentals at the main office went very quick. Paid by card for all entry fees and rental equipment. After our first match, the office manager came up to me and told me they had accidentally overcharged me by $170.00. She refunded me in cash. It’s nice to know there are still honest people out there these days. My son and his friends had and excellent time. We will definitely be returning.
Code Red is serious about making sure players have a competitive, fair, fun experience. Everything is well thought out and all staff are friendly and knowledgeable.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$31+
I love this park. I come at least once a month and haven't had problems until yesterday. Before I discuss the upsetting parts I'll give credit where credit is due. All the staff there are extremely friendly, fair, helpful and nice. They charge batteries instead of charging people $1-5 like other places. The maps are cool and they give us enough time to get ready. Now moving into the saddening part: yesterday the teams were unfair. No bands only had average m4's while the other team bands were full of hpa tapped guns and machine guns. Bands team wouldn't call their hits, would go past push limits, spawn trap, and would purposely shoot people even after they make everyone aware that they were hit. We would tell the refs but nothing was done until then second to last game and even then the teams weren't as fair. Again I love this park but if someone is cheating please kick them off of the field, for they are ruining everyone's day.
Is ok the field needs maintenance great for new player
CODE RED is awesome. Free battery charging. Staff is friendly. Airsoft fields are fun. Lots of parking, food vendors and decent restrooms .. lots of tables for gear checks between matches, I prefer to set up in the parking lot.
Great place to have fun, even better service, even EVEN better staff. Especially David Mahler, the man is the best. 100% recommended for everyone.
Took my son here for the first time. I’ve got to say that the owners and the people who work there do a great job of maintaining the rules while keeping things light. They’ve definitely perfected dealing with players in a positive way. I will definitely be back With my kid, we had a great time.
My first time attending the park, the staff was amazing, especially the lady who helped us today at the air soft. The games were fun, and the layout was amazing, even the players were honest and helpful. we lost a few items, and they were returned each time, definitely will go back we drove from San Diego
