"Cody's cafe"

First time and just passing through. I was in a rush, didn't really look at a menu, asked for a couple eggs made however, some bacon and a piece of toast to go. Dinning room 40% full. I was in and out in about 7 minutes flat. Eggs were awesome, bacon cooked perfectly. Breakfast was delicious, this will be my morning stop when passing through Swanton. Thank you for a great quick affordable breakfast. All done for under $6. Will definitely support this business in the future.

Nice little place but if you order onions with home fries tell them you want them cooked otherwise you get regular chopped onions. Overall it's a nice clean place.Food: 4/5

First impression isn’t necessarily good. But if you want reasonably priced, tasty food, served with a friendly smile and attentive service, then this place is definitely worth a stop.

Nice Service but I have to say it’s a little run down and I watched the waitress fill the cups with ice with her hands. I’m sorry but that’s not sanitary.

The restaurant is very grimy, everything looks sticky, and I tried not to touch the table as much as I could as it looked like it had never been cleaned before. I was there for a Father’s Day breakfast, along with many other families and our waitress had the audacity to say to a busy dining room “I didn’t expect to be this busy, I didn’t think people liked fathers” the service was okay, a little bit chaotic, and I wasn’t sure if I was suppose to seat myself or not when I walked in you do seat yourself btw and the food was disappointing. I’ve heard great things about this place but my toast the only thing I ordered was burned and the French toast didn’t look very good, and my dad said it didn’t taste the best. The pancake was okay though. All in all 2/5 and I don’t think I’ll be going back.

I love Cody's Cafe!! The food is ALWAYS GOOD when I go, & the staff are always nice, friendly & courteous. The pancakes oh my goodness! the pancakes are soooo delicious, & they're HUMONGOUS!! It's well worth the money, & you won't be disappointed at all for stopping! I recommend going.

This place was everything good about American cuisine. Yes I said it, breakfast is what I had. It was good fresh clean and well done. Staff was great. And honestly it felt like eating at my aunt's table kicking back and relaxed. A true American treasure. Mrs. LIZ IS A ROCK STAR.
