Nice fancy pants coffee house, warm and cozy, comfortable couches and chairs everywhere, baked goods, large selection of coffee drinks on the menu. Live music. Open atmosphere. They roast the beans in house, and you can watch and smell. A nice place to chill and spoil yourself.
It's an okay spot. Coffee is decent for the price $1.75- $2.75. Coffee is smooth and hot..even at 4 pm. They offer food as well but the menu is cluttered. Maybe streamlining their offerings would make more since. Food is priced fairly for about $7.50 on average. Seating is plentiful but the chairs are wooden which leaves much to be desired in terms of comfort. However, it is worth mentioning that there are couches spread throughout the cafe.
I went there on Sunday night for karaoke. Friendly crowd and staff. I could not believe the food I got for just $10. There were 5 delicious courses with food quality being top of the line. Even the presentation was great. Who would have expected such a dinner at a coffee house during karaoke?
Favorite in the area as far as coffee goes. Pastries and desserts are baked fresh everyday. Typically have vegan muffins available, although I've never had them. Great, quiet place to work. Ice cold in the winter. Could probably use a small temporary foyer to keep the temperature consistent and comfortable.
This place is really dirty. The glass case for the food is dirty and there must be an inch of dust on top of it. The guy who waited on me had jeans on that look like they never seen the inside of a washing machine. He also liked to show everyone how long his pony tail is...mind you as he was leaning on top of the glass case that stores foods. This place is gross.
You won't get fresher coffee beans to take home, and if you're on premises at the right time, you'll get to watch a roasting in what looks to me like an antique roaster. The staff really has it together, and they don't act like they came out of a cookie cutter training program. It really picks up in the evening, and there's live music and/or some special events several nights a week
Correct address is 910 Berlin Road. Coffee Works Too is my baby so this report could be biased. We have a great vibe, and provide a diverse mix of activities and services to our local community, along with THE best coffee, a large selection of fine loose leaf teas, and many food and pastry items nearly all created on premises. Made me the wrong smoothie and then refused to serve me the cup of tomato soup that I paid for. Make sure you hold onto your receipt when they ask you at the cash register because if there is a slip up then no time will be wasted on the cashier printing out a new one. The food was good, but the service could be improved. Since it was Sunday night, I think the staff was worn out from the day. So I understand mistakes were going to be made, but please don't argue with me that I didn't order something until you've looked at my receipt.
Good coffee and good made to order food. The little crew is friendly and work their butts off to please. Some seem to be still getting experience but, still a nice place to get coffee and chill.
The last time I smelled a bathroom this bad was in Mexico. Not a good place in Mexico. The tables, plates and silverware were dirty. The staff was friendly, but clearly had no serving experience. It took forever to get our food which was not good. The worst was the desserts. Stale, hard, dry and freezer burned.
