Buy your glasses here!! Don’t waste your time anywhere else! The selection of frames they offer can not be matched and the staff is absolutely amazing! Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Picking frames can be so overwhelming and the staff at Cohen’s made it such a great experience! Cheryl welcomed me as soon as I entered and guided me along my frame selecting journey. She helped pick out frames, offered honest opinions, and helped me find a pair I love. Actually the entire staff helped narrow down my selection because I loved so many! I will absolutely be back for more frames!!
I walked in to the store today confused and disoriented at the state of my glasses - bent completely out of shape. I was greeted and explained my issue to an associate who offered me help, but it looked grim - the metal had bent in two directions making repair a break - or - fix situation. I was defeated, and seeing the look on my face Cheryl stepped into action. She informed me that the procedure may break my glasses but I was happy to take the risk. She used heat and a variety of techniques to magically bend my glasses back to normal! A complete win for everyone, she managed to save my entire weekend in one fell swoop. I will be recommending Cohens and Cheryl to all that I know in the Danbury area. The service I received today was impeccable and she deserves the world.
Since the first moment and my very first appointment here, it has been such an incredible experience! I am so happy to be a part of the Cohen’s Optical Family! Cheryl, Tommy, Cleda, & Paul, are all phenomenal and exceptionally knowledgeable when it comes to the right fit for frames, and not to mention, they execute my eye prescription, should my prescription need changing! I stopped in yesterday on my lunch break in a hurry because a screw fell out of my frames and I rely on my glasses. I foolishly do not own a spare. Even though I did not purchase my frames here, Cheryl took me right in, popped a screw in my frames and fixed them on the spot so I could get back to work…free of charge! I appreciate her kindness and understanding. I will definitely be coming back.
Cohens has a fantastic range of glasses and sunglasses with a beautiful range of designer brands and reasonably priced frames. Cleda is my favorite and long-time optician. She remembers EVERYTHING and NEVER tries to push a sale. She has also been incredibly patient with me. Cheryl is another fabulous optician and has an amazing eye!!! She always helps pick out the sunglasses which look the best on me and I’m always happy with her choices! The Dr. there is exceptionally knowledgeable and thorough and I’m very impressed with his work ethic. He made sure to check in with two additional ophthalmologists prior to confirming my prescription. Although I’m a little uncomfortable with the progressive lenses the Cohens’ staff recommended, they described in detail in advance how it would be an adjustment and offered to switch the lenses back to distance for me. I am very grateful for the professionalism and consistency of the staff at Cohens.
I went in to the store to get my daughter’s eyeglasses adjusted and a damaged lens replaced. First, I was greeted with a smile by two beautiful and friendly ladies, which to me, is so important when shopping. Thank you ladies!!!! To make my day better Tommy adjusted the glasses and replaced the lenses right there, no charge. I couldn’t believe it! He said we were good customers for the past few years. Thank you, Tommy!
Visited Cohen with some questions about my insurance coverage. Cheryl helped me with not only thorough answers but she was also able to fix my loose glasses. Definitely returning here.
I had a $500 credit that I wanted to spend and found the perfect sunglasses that was a little over my budget. But Cheryll never fails to keep me as a happy customer ! Loved the Tom Ford sunglasses !Thank you Cheryll!
Highly recommended, what a great experience! I went in there today and had the best service ever, which is a rarity these days. They are super friendly and knowledgeable, along with carrying a great selection, including luxury designers.
Recently came in for a new pair of glasses after 8+ years. Asked multiple times before my exam and after when choosing frames if they took my eye insurance. They informed me they did and was told to pick out some styles. They even kept talking about different add-ons like blue light filter coatings anti glare anti scratch. I declined most of them and in the end of getting tested looking for a nice pair of frames my total cost WITH INSURANCE was $814.00. This devastated my saving and all my plans for 2022 holidays were basically canceled. Came to find out by late February that nothing was covered by vsp. The sales staff as kind as they were failed to inform me that my insurance only covered a few things, and that there was a "calculator" that determines what my insurance would cover which in the end was nothing. And its hard to fight because I wasn't billed under the cohens name. I only chose to go here because there were no lines, no waiting months for an appointment but now I can guess why. If it takes 1-2 months wait at another place, Choose them over General Vision Services Llc 14 ie: Cohens fashion optical
