Colbert Dive Team was developed to provide the surrounding communinities with certified divers to assist OHP and lake Corps with underwater recovery.
Colbert Dive Team was developed to provide the community with certified divers for recovery services. We work with and assist Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Bryan County Sheriff Department and Corps of Engineers in many types of underwater recovery.
Colbert Fire Department Dive Team eventually evolved to add water rescue and swift water rescue. We have our own air boat to assist in water rescue on the river and in flooding conditions. We also have certified swift water rescue personnel to assist in emergency swift water rescues. We hope to continue to grow and work with surrounding departments to provide the much needed services for this area. We truly appreciate the support of our community as we strive to meet these goals.
