Cold River Campground is fun for the entire family, we offer everything from spacious RV sites to secluded tent sites.
Cold River Campground was previously under the name of Walton's Campground and was purchased by Wayne, Pam and Ryan Michaud on May 1, 2015. We decided to change the name to Cold River Campground because we are very close to the Penobscot River that is Damn Cold (we are told). We were told it was cold by some fisherman that were staying at the campground and had fallen in the river the previous day and the name stuck! Lot's of fun here and lots of interesting people!
