In the most beautiful natural park of Sulphur Springs lies the newly finished 18-hole disc golf course. Each hole has 2 concrete tees (red and white).
The City of Sulphur Springs and the Parks & Recreation Department have constructed one of the newest and largest public disc golf courses in Northeast Texas. Open year-round, this addition is set in the most beautiful park Sulphur Springs has to offer. Come play this full length 18-hole course and experience one of the fastest growing recreational sports in our country. Played much like traditional golf, disc golf challenges players to throw specially designed discs into a hole, or basket as we call it, in as few throws as possible. Doing this requires practice, skill and sometimes ingenuity as players navigate natural obstacles and environmental elements. The equipment needed is far less expensive than traditional golf and anyone who can throw a Frisbee can throw a disc. Coleman Park's course offers two levels of play through two sets of tee boxes, red for beginners and white for novices. Enjoy the fun, light exercise and fellowship of friends outdoors in this naturally beautiful setting by trying disc golf.
