Parent and Family Education
As a Parent and Family Educator, I work with parents, teachers and clinicians in developing a better understanding of each child’s development and how that growth influences different patterns of behavior.
The philosophy of Collaborative Parenting of Richmond (CPR) is to look closely at the family dynamic as a behavioral influence. As a team, the parent and I collaborate in the development of a plan with specific skills that resolve individual behavior problems and reduce conflict in the family and the classroom.
I am committed to providing support and skill development to parents of all kinds by offering meaningful classes, workshops, speaking engagements and individual sessions. I also form groups of teens, by gender and provide skill development for them in the management of stress and troubling feelings.
