College Essay Solutions is the brainchild of four-time Emmy Award winning author Craig Heller. As the sole proprietor, Heller works individually with every client as a personal and professional guide to the college essay process.
Since 2005, Heller has assisted numerous students navigate the process of developing their essay. “When you first sit down to write the essay, a lot of people don’t know where to start,” Heller said. “No matter where you are in the process, I want to help.”

I believe that every high school senior can write an essay that will perfectly capture their individuality, creativity and passion for learning, showcasing what kind of citizen they will be once they are accepted by a college. Unfortunately, that's not always the essay students write. As Founder of College Essay Solutions my goal is to assure that students write unique, compelling essays that get Admissions Directors to sit up just a little straighter in their chairs. I want them to privately note, "Now here's an interesting applicant. I'm going to remember this name." I work one-on-one with students to build a professional quality essay, while preserving their voice.
The first phase involves mining students’ individuality to discover the ideal topic for them.
From there, I help students shape that topic into a well-organized and creative essay with a compelling opening, solidly constructed body, and a memorable close.
Guided by my notes, comments, observations and suggestions, plus an ongoing conversation between the student and myself, we work to refine the initial draft, add information and insights, and find ways to make the essay memorable. As the student writes each successive draft, it is returned to me for additional input.
This process continues until the essay has reached the high standards of the student and College Essay Solutions. There is no limit on drafts, or time.
