The College of Lake County (CLC) Music department offers four choral ensembles, four large instrumental ensembles and a jazz combo.
Our ensembles are composed of CLC students and musicians from the community of all ages. Participants may register for ensembles either for college credit or personal enrichment (non-credit). Concerts are given throughout the academic year in the beautiful James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts.
The choral music program has four ensembles: The Choir of Lake County, the CLC Singers, the Chamber Singers and the Gospel Choir.
The instrumental program has five ensembles: Wind Ensemble, Monday Night Jazz Ensemble, Tuesday Night Jazz Ensemble, Concert Band and Jazz Combo.
