The Business Management and Entrepreneurship Curriculum is a technical program resulting in an Associate of Applied Science. The program provides students with the skills necessary to own and operate their own business or to assume manager level positions. The one-year Business Management Technical Certificate is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge to become successful at the management level in retail operations. This certificate meets the requirements of the WAFC-endorsed Retail Management Certificate and is supported by the Western Association of Food Chains (WAFC).
This degree is designed for students wishing to directly enter the workforce. It is not designed to transfer to a four-year institution, although some courses are transferable. Students who wish to transfer coursework are strongly encouraged to work closely with their CSI advisor to develop a transfer plan.
All classes in the program can be completed online, although not all classes are offered online every term.
The College of Southern Idaho Business Management and Entrepreneurship program provides quality learning opportunities in business management and related studies that facilitate commercial development within the community and contribute to individual employability.
