Colony Apparel isn't just another apparel company, we are fighting to save our food supply! A portion of all proceeds goes to Save the Bees.
Colony Apparel is the love and passion of Holly Higdon-Wood. With 20 years of experience as an apparel designer and product developer with companies such as Nike, Adidas, Dakine & Chums, Holly decided to leave the corporate world to focus on her own creative apparel designs. Inspired by people, places, things and the constant movement of life, Holly set out to design collections that people connect with on a cellular level - clothing that not only feels great and looks great, but also connects with their lifestyle.
Holly also wanted to give back with her designs, and stay connected with her growing family. Through this exploration of life and values, Colony was born. "Our family has taken great interest in bees and what they mean to our lives. Bees work together to collectively create a strong, thriving community. They have each other's back and work for the good of the hive. I love this! It is so inspiring! I truly wish this for our planet, and would love for more of this 'buzz' to reach the all of us." So this is her way - creating functional, fun apparel that transitions well from one life moment to the next, while feeling feeling hella good in the process.
We are all apart of the Colony. Through our collective efforts, we can help save our food supply and teach younger generations the importance of protecting the precious circle of life.
Colony Apparel is based in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. All designs are handmade, hand-stitched and designed with love in our humble Hood River, Oregon loft. We strive to bee conscious with all of our materials and production.
