Colony Urban Farm Store is small, family-owned business that was founded in 2016 on the principal of "Know It, or Grow It," meaning a significant amount of your food supply should come from known sources or be grown at home.
We are proud to support Winston-Salem's local food movement by working with local farmers, beekeepers and vendors while also promoting your path toward homesteading based self-sufficiency. We are champions of backyard animal husbandry (queue the bees and chickens!) and will help you learn to incorporate urban agriculture into a busy, modern lifestyle.
