Colorado Academy of Martial Arts

A relatively small school, Colorado Academy really has the family feeling you look for in a local business. The teaching is effective and individualized, focusing on self-defense and personal discipline and development. The staff always welcomes us by name, not only the student but siblings and parents as well. They're as excited for their students' advancement as we are, and really seem to care a lot. It's a great place to learn and hone traditional jui jutsu skills while building community and friendships at the same time.

What a great place for a kid to grow ,learn how to help others and increase their self confidence. Our son has been going to Colorado Academy of Martial Arts for over 4 years and it has helped him grow in so many ways. High marks for the staff and the owners.

Everyone from the staff to the students represent the highest level of professionalism and respect. The facilities are clean, and well kept. The compassion and care given to the children is top notch. Overall this is a great environment for children and adults to learn self defense, and gain confidence in everyday life.

You have just found a great Martial Arts school and you do not have to look any further. There are two systems Jujitsu- unarmed and Arnis - armed that you can learn and the two systems are very complementary of each other. I have over 10 years experience with Martial Arts and have trained in two systems and trained at many different martial arts schools. I started taking classes with CAMA just over 2 years ago and this is the best Martial Arts School I have had the privilege of attending. The staff is excellent and there are many trainers that have very high experience levels. The facility is excellent and the training schedule is very flexible for the working adult. Come in and take a few classes - you will be coming back for more.

In todays world, CAMA is where you want your child to be!!! My review has been long overdue, but I feel in light of recent events and tragedies in our state and my town, Highlands Ranch, people need to know what the CAMA owners and staff did for my child. My son, Tyler, started when he was in second gradehe will turn 20 next week. He is a highly sensitive, bright, introvert that struggled with sensory, OT and social issues. This second home helped raised my son to have coping skills to deal with adversity, taught him to be confident in himself and his ablilities, how to defend himself, how to make good choices in life, how to be a good citizen and how hard work and perseverance can earn you a black belt! Thank you Roland, Laurel and Staff!!!

Love everything about this place! Sensei and his lovely wife are the owners and they both are very loving and caring individuals that show respect, honor, and compassion in everything they teach! The atmosphere is very welcoming, everyone is very encouraging and respectful to each other, if you are looking for a great place to learn the art of jujitsu then I hope to see you here

Nice big clean building. Friendly helpful staff. Instructors good with kids. Multidisciplinary approach with emphasis on jujitsu. Conscientious about covid protocols.

This is the best martial arts school around. They have a great program for any age.
