Why would some one give a 1 star review because this isn't a public library? Are you kidding me? As a caregiver for a 95 yr old with macular degeneration, this place has been fantastic for them since they can't read anymore.
My father has been using the CO Talking Book Library for over a year. It has been a wonderful asset for him as his vision is declining and he is homebound. It's good to have a second person help the visually challenged individual fill out the application, get the medical signature, and get the system set up. He was a little overwhelmed when all of the books started arriving, but now he seems very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful volunteers. CTBL is a terrific resource for those who qualify!
My mom loves the talking book library! After a lifetime of reading voraciously, she felt bored and isolated when she could no longer read for herself. We signed her up for the service five years ago. Now she is enjoying listening to books and reconnecting with stories and authors she’s loved all of her life.
The CTBL has made such a difference in my uncle's life these last several years. He's always enjoyed reading and now, as he is less able to do other activities, it's a blessing that this is available to him. The staff at the library keep him supplied with a selection of his favorites and have made the whole process easy.
I started with Talking Books in Arizona and transferred to Colorado when I moved here in January 2021. Great organization. Great service. Easy to use. Responsive librarians. I highly recommend Colorado Talking Books. Dave
I absolutely love CO Talking Library...I was a librarian for many years..books have literally been my life since I was old enough to hold one!! But now I can no longer see to read..one of my worst fears.. Then I requested help from this awesome library... The people here are so kind and helpful.. I don't know what I would do without them.. THANK YOU Colorado..
Not a public library. This is a library for the visually, physically, or learning disabled.
