CSSD11 Volunteer Services serves as the link between the community and the schools to encourage and enable citizen participation in education.
In District 11, volunteers tutor in reading and math, mend, uniform shirts, help with vision and hearing screening, chaperone field trips, belong to committees, and share expertise. The opportunities are as diverse as the individuals who volunteer.
The GrandFriends program brings together two very important segments of our community, our elders and our youth. Senior citizens work with D-11 students, who provide, but from the life experiences the share and the personal relationships they build.
Business education partnerships are welcome in all District 11 schools. If you have an idea about how you, your business, or your organization can help ensure student achievement in our district, we'd like to hear it. We want to use your knowledge and expertise to help our students be the best they can be.
