The class Little Samurais is filled of great exercises and fun for kids as young as 4 years old! And the Junior class is a great workout for older kids!

Shugyo dojo has three different martial arts taught within it on different days of the week.  Monday and Wednesday are Shudokan Karate followed by Tai Chi.  Tuesday and Thursday are Aikido.  I attend the karate class led by 6th-degree black belt Sensei Timothy Shafer.  Together with Sempai Deb Shafer, karate is taught in a dynamic methodology that is rooted deeply in the traditions and culture associated with Okinwan Karate, and some addition drills and learning based on deep investigations of body mechanics and other martial arts.  Great for people who want to know the "why" of karate.  These classes will help expand mind, body and spirit.  Ages 13+ welcome!

Great friendly atmosphere, with knowledgeable and experienced Judoka!
