I have been meaning to write this review for some time...the owners went above and beyond to help my husband and I with our new mattress purchase in 2020. The times were crazy, supplies were hard to come by, and our frustration was high. However, they were sympathetic, understanding, apologetic, and very helpful. AND, we love our mattresses!
Great selection, amazing value. I could not be happier with my experience, we moved from St. Louis to Columbia and visited other mattress stores that were overpriced and out of stock. Thankfully we discovered Columbia Discount Furniture, and it was the MOST positive experience! Thank you so much, we love our new beds!!!
We went in looking for a new mattress set so we were geared to buy already. But I think even if we hadn't been quite ready we would definitely have bought here. The staff is very personable, easy to talk with, and very helpful. We worked with the owners daughter-in-law it's a family thing. She was very helpful and even admitted to not having memorized details about all the merchandise. She was quick to look things up and offer reference materials. No pressure for sale gave us the information we asked for and left us to decide, but was immediately there if we had questions The store is small, and a bit off the road, but not terribly difficult to find. The picture for the address is the right building it is just down the drive and in the back. I am sure that helps in the low cost of stock they have. Delivery fee is reasonable $45 same day, $35 next day or later, and all in all we were in and out in under an hour. I would recommend this store to anyone seeking new bedroom or living room furniture. Not a huge selection but what they have was quite nice, and what isn't in stock they turn around pretty quickly or so we were told.
Perfect mattress buying experience. We walked into the storefront, and immediately, they greeted us warmly, asked what we were looking for, showed us our 2 options with clear prices, and we were finished. The mattress, box spring, frame, same-day delivery, and set up came out to be the same cost as the cheapest mattress alone at the department store we visited right before this one. It was a quick, affordable, and easy experience. We love our comfortable new bed. Highly recommend. Thank you Columbia Discount Furniture and Bedding!
I Am a Satisfied return customer I purchased a 5 piece bedroom set and it looks and feels amazing and it was extremely affordable the Nate was very friendly and helpful delivery was fast and on time I installed the bed myself which took about 20 minutes. I put my box spring on upside down at first and thought I made a mistake purchasing but once I realized the problem I fixed it the bed felt great and sturdy. overall it was a wonderful experience from purchase to sleeping in my new bed I will continue to use this company!!!
Extremely grateful for the gang at Columbia Discount Furniture and Bedding! Their customer service is definitely in a class all by its own, absolutely the best!! I was in a pinch and needed same day service on one of their busiest days, move in day at Mizzou. I had the pleasure of working with Brett, Linda, and Nathan. Each one of them were incredibly pleasant and eager to help me. I would highly recommend their services and product, you will not be disappointed!! I will definitely use them for all of my furniture and bedding needs in the future!!
I actually heard about this store through a family member. We just needed a queen mattress for a guest bedroom, so we weren’t trying to go all out for a mattress. When we first got to the store there were smiling faces to greet us. We knew exactly what we wanted and Nathan was a great help! They have a good selection of mattresses there, and truthfully we were in and out within maybe 20 minutes. Even though we didn’t spend a lot of money on the mattress, the quality of the mattress will trick you. You would think I spent $700 on this mattress, and it was far from it. I highly recommend saving your money and not waste your time at a big box store. Go here!
Last Spring I purchased a Queen mattress set from Columbia Discount Furniture and Bedding. This was for our guest bedroom. It gets rave reviews from our guests. Everyone has commented on how comfortable the bed is. I recently purchased a Full mattress set for an antique bed I inherited. This antique bed required a 1/2 size foundation, and they had one! Sometimes I use the room to take a little nap, and the mattress is lovely. I drift off to sleep like a baby. I love the no pressure sales staff. They determine your needs and expertly guide you through the process. Delivery was prompt, and the employees are polite, courteous, and won't track mud in your house. The purchase was a pleasure.
Great prices on mattresses! The employees were very helpful and friendly and helped us find just what we were looking for. They even made sure it was all ready for us to pick up within 30 minutes when we had to leave to get tow straps. Highly recommend for anyone wanting good furniture or mattresses at a good price.
