This facility is #1 in my opinion. Taking care of people in their declining years is hard work. The staff is dedicated, kind, and supportive not only of the patients but also family and friends of the patients. They bend overbackwards to accomadate. The facility is clean and comfortable for the patients, and their safety seems to be a priorty. Don't get me wrong. This is not "Club Med", but is much better than a number of places I've seen here in Wisconsin, and other places in other parts of the country.
My best friend and hunting partner spent the last months of his life here in hospice care. The staff were over the top in care concern and service The facility is fairly bright and pleasent. Many times it is when things are challenging that you see a places true colors. And boy did they shine in the way they handled flu in one of the wings. Very good tight protocols, but administered with compassion for both visitors and clients.
My grandmother has stayed here for a few years now. The staff takes great care of her, which is a great relief to me. They are very friendly and knowledgeable in what they do. The facility has a great dining area that allows residents to see nature from indoors.
My grandma lived here for four years and the staff is absolutely amazing! They became like family to her and she enjoyed the community CHCC provided through the years. From the outings to the entertainment and activities provided in-house, she spoke fondly of her time there. She loved her care providers immensely, and was well taken care of physically and emotionally. They were her extended family.
My sister has been there at your care center for quite some time now I'm from Nebraska and when visiting her I noticed how clean the center was, how helpful the staff is, and how gentle your staff is with the residents I know my sister is happy there and I would rate this facility excellent. Thank you all.
First time there to visit. Finding what door to use was hard. Not very clear on where to enter the building. Had to buzz to enter then you had to use a keyboard type thing to enter the next set of doors.
""My dear mother Baereuth Emma Slinger, nee Schietrumpf was a very happy resident of this professional, beautiful, wonderful nursing home from 2004 to 2013 and my mother was treated with the same respect and care that the Queen of England would hope to receive."" ""The head manager, Amy was second to none, and every single person who worked for this beautiful wonderful happy nursing home were all top professionals."" ""If I am to live to become an old man, I will make sure that I find a way to become a resident of the Columbia County Health Care Center of Wyocena, Wisconsin."" ""Yours, Robert Carl Slinger of Cambria, Wisconsin and of Salt Lake City, Utah.""
